Summer holiday idyll as comfort, leisure and relaxation come with this house in a sleepy village full of local character and colour. The one time rustic house and huge barn have been converted into a spacious resting place whilst maintaining the old personality. There is plenty of room for a large group to find individual quiet spots in the courtyard, by the pool or in the orchard and then get together in the evening to eat at home or enjoy sumptuous cooking at either of the good value restaurants a few minutes drive away. 3 double bedrooms, and one single. Well fitted kitchen - washing machine, dishwasher etc.. Private pool right outside the lounge doors for a pre breakfast splash and an elevated patio to catch the last of the evening rays as you raise your glasses to toast another good day.

Built on the river Naboa willows and wisteria delight the eye in the heart of this sunny land. Narrow streets full of the perfume of flowers and the atmosphere of yesteryear. The Convent of Christ/Tomar Castle – all part of the same building is a small village in itself with kitchen gardens, laundry and kitchens, cemetery ramparts and definitely an experience not to be missed. The Castle is steeped in history and bathed in tranquillity. There are exciting ramparts from which to imagine sighting the enemy. Perhaps the spiritual element gives the tranquillity as the magnificent Charola was where the Knights took mass, fully armed on horseback before going off to the holy wars. The Friday market is such a step back into the past with just about everything being offered for sale from cottons to cauldrons, garden tools to home grown veg and flowers, honey and hats, buckets and baskets, scissor sharpening and socks.
