A beautifully furnished Townhouse overlooking top international golf course property Air conditioned and centrally heated and it will accommodate 4 people comfortably. There are three large terraces one of is a solarium patio furniture is good quality, every thing you need for that relax in the sun there are two new bicycles. Kitchen area is fully equipped with all you will need for that night in. Lounge has a corner leather suite, flat screen TV, DVD hi fi system you can watch all your English TV programs, there is a dining room suite to seat 4. The Resort is fully gated and manned 24hrs there is a large luxury clubhouse, bars , restaurants, and a very well stocked supermarket many large swimming pools tennis courts and kiddies play areas, all these facilities are all a few minutes walk from the house. The beeches and the hustle and bustle of San Javier are about 20 minute's this makes the perfect place to play your next round of golf or just relax in the sun and surroundings.

The coast of Mar Menor includes the resorts of Los Alcazares, San Pedro Del Pinatar, and Santiago De la Ribera all just a 15 minute drive away, whilst Torrevieja on the Mediterranean coast is about 25-30 minutes away. La Manga is about 30 minutes, and the Towns of Cartagena also the famous Murcia is around 30-40 minutes also known as the garden of Spain, the region enjoys approx 300 days of sunshine a year withe an average temperature of 21 degrees. We really enjoyed our stay at La Torre and Albert and Gail's townhouse was just what we needed. La Torre itself has quite a range of amenities including a number of swimming pools, supermarket, restaurants, bars and hotel with internet access plus an amazing golf course. We didnt go to La Torre for the golf but just wanted a convenient spot between Murcia city and the coast and this fitted the bill perfectly. The townhouse was spotlessly clean and had everything that we wanted (comfortable beds, TV with UK channels, air conditioning). The two sun terraces on first and second floors were just the job for sun-bathing.

Albert was very helpful prior to our visit and rang soon after we had arrived to check that all was well. On-site keyholders, Jim and Sue, were also available to provide any assistance needed.

Would definitely consider re-visiting!

Town House

The apartment facilities were very good! There was air-con in the upstairs bedroom and the open-plan lounge/kitchen but the downstairs bedroom only had a fan so it was a little warm at night. The bathrooms are not shown in the pictures - the upstairs ensuite is especially nice!

The views from the 1st and 2nd floor balconies were lovely overlooking the golf course and were great for sitting sunbathing on. However there is not much to see from the ground floor.

The resort pools are very clean and well presented (there are lots of pools). It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest pool but sadly there were no loungers at the pools so we had to sit on the grass!

There are quite a few restaurants in the resort (about 15 mins walk) but it is easy to drive to others outside the resort and are more reasonably priced. A BBQ might have been an useful bonus to the apartment.

The resort supermarket is overpriced but a 15 min drive to the local town was easy and meant we could stock up for the week and buy just the essentials from the supermarket on the resort. The two bikes were of great use for this!

Good customer service was provided - all our queries were answered promptly. Instructions from the airport, information etc was excellent.

Overall, this was a quiet, clean, safe resort and the accommodation was very good. A relaxing, enjoyable holiday!

A lovely place to stay if you want to relax !!

Our family stayed at Albert and Gails property this August 2009.
From the moment I enquired if the property was free, I was amazed. Albert called me within the hour to let me know it was. He then asked me about our family and requirements, and held the weeks we wanted for a day or two so we could book our flights. He even recommended a hire car company that were cheap too ! The photo's on the website are good. The accomodation however is - excellent! Top quality furnishings, and luxurious bathrooms too!
Jim and Sue - the keyholders are very friendly and will help you when and if you need it.
Having stayed in this part of Spain several times before, we have our favourite resturants that we drove to and visited again.
But if you want to stay on site all week you can. Good supermarket (but you can get somethings cheaper outside the resort). And plenty of resturants on site.
However - if you want to eat out - it's only about 20-25 minutes drive to the coast and there you will find plenty of places.
Overall - it's a great place to stay. Very quiet. And a great place to have a holiday and play golf. I hope my golf improves so I can return and play next year!
So to finish - great value for money, Jim on site to help if we needed it, and Albert called whilst we were there just to make sure we were happy!

PS If you take your own sat nav - don't use it till you get there - follow Alberts instructions as some of the roads are so new they are not on the sat nav maps yet !!!

Fantastic Town House, worth a visit

This accomodation was very nice, well worth a visit. The photos of the property does not do it justice, it was in very good condition - a home from home. The property was clean and well maintained. The people who look after the townhouse are very helpful. My in-laws stayed in the property and had nothing but praise for the 5 star standard.
