The house is situated in a small hamlet of only 18 houses (called Les Cazottes), but 3 minutes drive from Saint Laurent de Cerdans, a village dating back from 1168. In town you'll find all necessary facilities such as supermarket, pharmacy, bakeries, butcher, post-office, pizzeria and several cafés. There is also a very nice municipal swimming-pool with life-guard. The back-way to Spain is a 6-7 minute drive, and the town of Céret boasts of one of the finest modern art museum in the south of France, only 25 minutes away. It's the perfect choice of vacation rental if you love nature, mountains, culture and cuisine. The south of France at its best!
