The 'Casa degli Artisti' is situated next to the famous garden of the historic Villa Rospigliosi, built in the 17th century after a project of Bernini as a summer residence for Pope Clemens IX. Today you can listen to Classic Music inside the frescoed rooms of the magnificent Villa which in this way has become a kind of meeting point for lovers of music under the guests of the Montalbano area. In fact, Villa and Podere are on one of the hills of the Montalbano only 25 km away from Florence. In the past the Montalbano was the preferred hunting area of the Medici. Today this region is known for its extraordinary olive-oil and the Chianti-Montalbano. Only a few minutes away is the mediaeval village Vinci, Leoanardo da Vinci's birthplace and the museums dedicated to the great painter and inventor, the real Renaissance man. The property is ideal too for excursions to Florence, Lucca, Siena and Pisa or to the seaside, to Carrara, to the Chianti area.
