From the lovely shaded terrace to the sun filled pool area,from the huge comfortable lounge with satellite TV VCR and CD player to the practical summer kitchen, Mas Garrigues is an ideal holiday home. Sitting above the banks of the River Tet in perfect tranquillity you only hear the sounds of nature, yet the airport is only 25 minutes drive. Standing in its own 5 hectares of grounds the beautiful spacious gardens are surrounded by olive groves(we make olive oil) and peach orchards. You relax on the shaded terrace and lawns or the pool side. The inside dining area seats 8 comfortably, although you may find that you eat most meals outside on the front terrace surrounded by roses or in the spacious summer kitchen with its built in BBQ and pizza oven Their are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6.large bathroom and seperate WC in the house and a shower and WC off the summer kitchen The house kitchen is fully fitted with hob,oven microwave and dish washer. There is a seperate laundry room.

Mas Garrigues is 5 minutes from the old market town of Ille Sur Tet, in the centre of the peach growing area. with Wednesday and Friday markets. There are cafes, shops and restaurants and a large supermarket.25 minutes is an easy drive from Perpignan Airport. 35 minutes to all the sandy beaches and lovely old coastal roads and rocky coves along the Mediterranean coast towards Spain, with the old port of Collioure, Dali's House near Cadaquez & Dali's museum in Figures are but 1 hour away. Barcelona is 2 hours drive by motorway for a day out. Mas Garrigues is a great base for exploring the beaches and mountains. it is a Catalonia cultural feast.

  • Rates are all inclusive. Bed bath and kitchen linen are provided. A 25% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before you arrive. A security/extra cleaning deposit deposit of £250 is also due then.
    Rentals run from Saturday at 4.00pm to Saturday at 10.00 in July and August. Although if booked well in advance, Sunday arrival can be arranged. In other months it is possible to book Thursday to Thursday to take advantage of lower airfares and ferry prices.

Notes: At Mas Garrigues we try and keep the balance between home comforts and the feeling of freedom. it is a family home. The very large lounge and dining area is galleried. In the summer most meals are taken on the terrace overlooking the lawns and pool. The BBQ house has a build in BBQ chimney and also a pizza oven. The main gardens are fenced. with huge lawned areas and even a hard surface for boulles. Mas Garrigues is very peaceful, a place to relax after a day on the beach,or in the mountains. Or spend the day at home relaxing in the shade of a tree. with a good book, swim in the pool, play boulles, or wander through the surrounding peach fields and olive groves. We make olive Oil it has been described as 'the best we have ever tasted' The local people describe Mas Garrigues as ' Paradise'.
