Lindos is located on the east side of world famous Rhodes island, recently voted as top European destination and one of the world's top 5 places to visit. Lindos offers everything: Traditional protected architecture, churches and monasteries, the Acropolis, 2 fabulous sandy beaches offering beach sports, bars, world cusine resturants, night clubs, craft shops, souvenir shopping, etc. Nearby you will find the resort of pefkos with more great beaches and excellent nightlife. Rhodes town offers great shopping and modern luxuries, a UNESCO world heritage Old medieval Town surrounded by a castle, the palace of the the Knights of St John. Also close to Lindos are the world famous valley of the butterflies, the Monestry of Panagia Tsambika, Prassonisi resort for windsurfing, the Rhodes Watepark, the aquarium, and popular seaside villages like Kiotari, Haraki, Kolimbia. Day trips to nearby traditional island of Symi are also easy to make from Lindos.
