Sissi apartment

This was a well positioned, good sized apartment. It was perhaps a little too basic and in particular the kitchen and cooking facilities needed to be improved. However it was a lovely place for a quiet family/ couple to stay and I would recommend it if you don't mind a "no frills " holiday. The pool complex across the way is indeed very close and was wonderful the owners who ran it, made our stay and could not have been nicer. Sissi itself still retained some of its fishing village charm and was world away from the crowds of the Younger resorts. Best restaurant is Mike's run by a local Greek the food was wonderful.

During our own stay in August, we have added additional cooking equipment to the kitchen & there is now use of a washing machine. We also reviewed all other area's & will be making further improvements, complete for May 2009, to enhance the apartment, while still maintaining its rustic cretan charm.
