Luxurious character cottage in beautiful open countryside near sea, St David's, and Pembrokeshire coastal path. Celtic Church of St Justinian is the only building nearby. Church Farm is the ideal place for a family holiday or retreat from the bustle of everyday life. The cottage is about 300 years old but has been luxuriously refurbished and extended, and now offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room/open plan kitchen occupying the original cottage at ground floor level and dining room seating 10. Three of the bathrooms have whirlpool baths - great for desanding kids after a day on the beach or chilling out after a day walking on the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Summer or winter the geothermal underfloor heating and air handling system means the cottage is always warm and dry, and solar heating tops up the hot water. Freeview TV, DVD, Wifi, table tennis and pool if it rains, shower for hosing down wet suits or dirty dogs/children, trampoline, stream, gardens, bbq if it shines

  • All bathrooms were created in 2007. They all have fully tiled floors and bath/shower areas, under floor heating and heated towel rails. The master bedroom bathroom and wetroom have mira electric showers. All other hot water is from the solar/ground source heating system which is topped up by immersion heating if necessary. All bathrooms have shaving mirrors and electric shaving points. All baths are whirlpool baths.

All rooms are well furnished with wardrobes, bedside cabinets and lights for each person. Upstairs ther is a master bedroom with leather kingsized bed leather chairs , adjacent bathroom with whirlpool bath , bidet toilet and basin, and adjacent study area. All bedrooms benefit from fresh air via an air handling system and have double glazed opening windows and under floor heating.

Notes: wheelchair access available to twin room, dining room and wetroom. The laundry equipment is in a separate utility room. Up to two well behaved dogs may be allowed by arrangement but note this is a farm and dogs must not be allowed to chase livestock. There are sometimes cattle or sheep on the fields. Dogs may not sleep on beds or on the furniture. No other pets are allowed. An extra charge will be made for dogs. There are terraces at the front and back of the cottage with seating/tables. The sun is in the front in the morning and back in the evening. There is a trampoline and stream in the garden, and a pond near by. Children must be supervised at all times there are outhouses with table tennis, pool and a shower room. There is a computer but this must be used by responsible adults only to access emails and search legitimate internet sites. Guests may bring their own laptop and use the cottage's wifi system. there is an air handling system.

The cottage and surrounding area were great. We were a group of adults wanting to get away from it all and the holiday proved to be exactly what we wanted (and needed!!). We all had good size bedrooms and it was a pleasure to find a place that had enough bathrooms so that we didn't have to queue in the mornings!! The baths are great - having jacuzzis!! There was also plenty of hot water.
We had fantastic weather and were able to eat outside every evening. The barbeque facilities were great.
We enjoyed the trampoline, table tennis and pool and just sitting peacefully in the sun!! The house has two aspects so we were able to get the sun both in the morning and in the afternoon.
There was plenty of parking.
All in all it was a great holiday.

The Birthday Weekend!

We had an awesome time. The house was excellent and furnished to a really high quality. 10 of us went to celebrate 2 of us turning 30. Everyone loved it. It's secluded with enough to do and plenty of space for everything. The trampoline, pool table and table tennis was enough and the living room was big enough to set up Rock Band on the Xbox. Would definitely go back.

Took my wife and 3 children, along with Granny and Grandma, and had a wonderful time. Beautiful secluded location. Quiet and safe....a natural adventure park for the children with plenty to keep them occupied even if it rained. (Which it did!)
Grannies each had their own space. It was ideal. A lovely property for larger parties.
