The Murcia region:

Swimming Pools & Sports facilities:
Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort has a large number of luxury swimming pools situated throughout the resort. The pool areas are a great place to spend the day for the whole family.
If you prefer to relax in peaceful surroundings there is a separate jacuzzi area where you can sit back and take in the spectacular views. The children can enjoy the separate children's pool area which is ideal for toddlers and children.
There is a gym and two full-size outdoor tennis courts for the more energetic to enjoy.
The Spa will be at the 5-star Intercontinental La Torre Golf Resort Hotel, due to be completed early in 2009. In the meantime, guests can use the same facilities at the nearby Mar Menor Resort. The Spa is designed by the prestigious international firm E'SPA. It has 14 treatment rooms, massage parlours, a gymnasium and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool.
Golf:
La Torre Golf Resort is situated in the Costa Calida, Murcia region of Southern Spain and enjoys pleasant temperatures all year round. For golf enthusiasts, the region offers many golf courses and the famous Jack Nicklaus golf trail. Four Polaris World courses are now open, receiving great reviews, with another five complete by 2010 - all within 35km of each other. To help you get around, there are complimentary shuttle buses running between the golf courses.
