Beside the castle, this area is famous for its renaissance and baroque palaces (now embassies and ministries), for its old churches (from Roman style to baroque style, like San Nicolas), for its museums, galleries and for the baroque gardens and parks all around. And also, the Charles bridge is at few steps, on the way to the Old Town square (20 minutes walk) and it is beautiful to walk by the river.
