Recently renovated to a very high standard (launched June 2008)nestles into the hillside in a slightly elevated terraced position,facing south with stunning views of hills,valley .Rich in rustic Tuscan appeal yet with all modern comforts, minutes from main road and village where there are shops,bar and restaurant.Other restaurants/shops only 5/10 mins drive away.Access is by a private road which has automatic night time lighting.GROUND FLOOR:new kitchen with dishwasher,fridge/freezer,microwave,oven/hob etc.,double bedroom,cloakroom,lounge/diner with DVD,TV,,open fireplace.FIRST FLOOR:twin bedroom with en-suite,main bathroom and 2 further double bedrooms.All bedrooms have spectacular views.OUTSIDE:ample parking next to house,above ground pool on terrace,6 loungers and 2 lounger chairs,8 chairs and table,BBQ for alfresco dining,laundry closet for washing machine.

The village of Trebbio has some shops and a very good reasonably priced restaurant - La Fonte -well worth a visit. The house is only 10 minutes from Celle/Puccini - the museum of the great composer.15minutes from the famous Ponte del Diavolo(Devil's bridge) and 20 minutes from Bagni di Lucca's thermal springs. The beautiful town of Barga is 30minutes away. Within the town is a tiny walled medieval 'city' which is traffic free, has a 13thc church and wonderful views across the Garfagnana mountains.Other places to visit are: Collodi - (birthplace of Pinoccio's author) Pinoccio Park and Villa Garzoni and it's beautiful gardens.Lucca's old city is surrounded by a huge medieval wall and features some of Italy's finest Renaissance architecture. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants, markets and music festivals.The beautiful city of Florence is 75minutes by car, and Pisa is more than just a tower - visit the medieval quarter and learn about the Medici family.It is 1 hour to Pisa airport.

Notes: Although the south facing property is slightly elevated it is easily accessed and is not isolated. The surrounding area is very lush and green with acacia & chestnut trees, lavender, rosemary and other herbs which grow freely. The house has many Tuscan features and has been sympathetically renovated using the local stone. Behind the property there's a peaceful terraced backdrop where one can relax in the pool whilst enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. The side terrace is furnished with garden table, chairs and parasol where meals can be taken whilst enjoying the stunning view. Pool towels and a hair-dryer are provided for guests use.

Stunning wide, clean, white sandy beaches with shallow waters stretching for miles taking in the lovely classy resorts of Forte de Marmi, Lido di Camiore, Viareggio. There are many shops and cafes on the wide promenades, plenty of parking spaces and long cycle paths.
