Ryad ISSIL, located within 10 minutes taxi ride to the historic square - Jamal Fanaa. Known as the 'Tourist Village', this complex offers a great atmosphere from which you can launch you magical holiday in Marrakech. A swarm of colourful and exotic plants will welcome you on arrival to the complex. Fully gated and secure, it houses 3 communal swimming pools, tennis courts and provides ample space for walking & cycling. Around the perimeter of the complex are food stalls, convenience stores, pharmacy and even a hammam - must for all visitors (traditional spa - almost complete) On entry into our home, you will notice the traditional decor offered throughout the property. Tadlak, a traditional plastering technique skillfully presented with rich colours throughout the property. Bathrooms are decorated using traditional techniques and tiles. Each of the bedrooms are located on 3 seperate floors all with airconditioning and ensuite.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices shown are for rental of the full house with a maximum of 6 persons. Should further 2 persons require accommodation an additional charge of £35 per person will be made. A 50% reservation fee is required to secure the accommodation and remaining balance to be paid 7 days prior to arrival. A security deposit of £150 is required and will be returned 7 days after the departure date, providing the property is left in a satisfactory condition.
  • The following services can be provided given advance notice. Daily meals, tour guide, car hire, day tours and excursions.
  • A further 10% discount is available for periods of stay over 2 weeks. For any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Local area and amenties: There are lots of monuments and museums to visit. Of the very famous ones, The Khotoubia found directly across the main square. Of course there is the historical square itself, which is part of the world heritage site. From there visit the myriad of souks filled with arts, crafts, perfumery and colourful clothes. Visit the site of Masjid Bin Yousuf found amidst the hustle & bustle of the souks. You will find Hammam Zaitun here - a must visit spa for tired legs and feet. From here its 15 minutes walk to the European town of Gueliz and Hivernage where there are lots of shopping facilities, such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut and plenty of European clothing stores.

Things to do - excursions and trips to nearby plac: There are lots of possible excursions, whether by hired car or on organised trips with official guides, such as the valley of lOurika-Atlas and Oukaimeden (skiing), the Kik plateau, Asni Ouirgane, the waterfalls of Ouzoud, Beni Mellal, Essaouira and its famous beach, Ouarzazate and its cinema studios, Zagora at the entrance to the desert (camels in the dunes), the gorges of Dades Todghra, el Jadida Safi and its pottery shops, Oualidia and its beaches. Our local friends can help you arrange any of the above. Approximate travel times to the named places is from 45 minutes to 3 hours.

Skiing Information: Oukaimeden in Morocco where snow is somewhat guaranteed to fall and visitors can rent equipment. Oukaimeden lies just south of Marrakech (46 miles) in the High Atlas Mountains and is usually covered in snow in January and February. There are ski lifts (you can also use a donkey) and skis to rent. There are a few places to eat snacks and two hotels to overnight at. Oukaimeden is an easy day trip from Marrakech by taxi.

Excellent vaule for money, beautiful surroundings

My husband and I had been planning a trip to Marrakech for quite some time. We had heard some good reviews of the busy souks and historical setting of the city.

We chose this property through a recommendation. We were told for the price and facilities it was very reasonably priced. When the enquiry was amde, we could not beleive how much difference in price it was compared to other properties. We then thought, you probably get what you pay for. We were wrong.... The proprty is wonderful, and the complex is very relaxing and secure. The property had plenty of space and very traditional decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only downside was we arrived when the complex was at it's quietest off peak season, so many of the complex shops were closed, toherwise I can imagine how much life the complex can have. (thank you Sid, and thank you Abdul latif for sorting everything out for us)
