Romantic 5 star vacation apartments in Napoleon's Mayor House
The luxurious and romantic five star vacation apartment is located in a prized monument in Saarburg. Top location. It was built in 1760 by the last royal caretaker and later Napoleons mayor. Exactly there where Victor Hugo said: in the heart of the old city, directly by a waterfall with a wonderful view of the valley and vineyards. The shoreline, where you can catch a sight-seeing boat, is only about 2 minutes away from the romantic, stylishly furnished house - much of the original pieces, like the stair case, doors, parquett floor and fireplace all come from the 18th century. The Saarburg Nature Park also begins nearby with kilometer-long protected hiking and biking paths along the vineyards. Nearby you will find good restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, rowing club, burg ruins, chair lift, bell foundry. Only 25 km to either Trier or Luxemburg.

Saarburg is a small, romantic city with vineyards reaching down to the city center, an impressive waterfall, burg ruins, a chair lift, bell foundry, marina, tennis courts, rowing club, mill museum, pools, wine and champagne producers, restaurants and a train station. Saarburg, the tourist center in the Saar-Obermosel, is also a docking point for many river cruises. In addition to the many attractions within Saarburg, it's location in the three border region and close proximity (25 km) to Trier - the oldest city in Germany - and its close proximity to the financial metropolis of Luxemburg, all add more excitement.
