New 1 bedroom apartment situated on the 1st floor with views looking both out to the mountains and down on to the pool, located just a few minutes from Peyia village but still only 10 minutes to Coral Bay makes for the perfect position. The apartment itself is air conditioned and furnished to a very high standard consisting of a lounge area with a 3 seater sofabed and a 2 seater sofa, LCD TV with satellite channels, DVD and a CD player with an open plan aspect to the dining area with seating for 4 and into the fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a solid oak double bed and matching bedside tables. The bathroom is fully tiled with bath/shower, WC and wash basin. The balcony has patio table/chairs and 2 sun loungers are also available for your use. A security safe and a Cypriot mobile phone are also in the apartment as are squash balls, rackets and a set of bowls should you wish to use the on site facilities which also include a jacuzzi, gym and sauna.

Peyia village with it's 3 handy supermarkets, local shops consisting of a bakers, butchers, chemist and bank amongst others and with a choice of several tavernas is just a scenic 10 minute walk, or if you'd prefer a 2 minute drive. As beautiful and tranquil as it's location surprisingly it's still very close to some fantastic beaches including Coral Bay, only a 10 minute drive away and one of the best beaches in the area, Pafos Bird and Animal park is close too. Further north about a 40 minute drive lies Latchi with it's picturesque marina and harbour or the quaint town of Polis and of course Akamas National Park/Peninsula, not forgetting everything that Paphos has to offer, from the ancient history to the modern water park, beach, harbour or the many shops, bars and tavernas.

Beautiful, relaxing & peaceful - we loved it!

On arrival at Paphos airport, we picked our hire-car up (recommended to us by the owner of the apartment) without complications (and was a bargain-very affordable, good value for money!) and began the short journey to the apartment complex using the detailed directions and map provided, which we found very easy to follow.

The apartment exceeded are expectation; it was furnished to a high quality, modern and clean (as pictured on the website). The view from the balcony was very scenic and beautiful - we loved it!

We found the complex to be incredibly relaxing and peaceful and the apartment itself couldn't have been situated anywhere better within the complex; within a few short steps we were able to access the gym and sauna (which we used regularly) and another few steps we were out by the swimming pool, which was just beautiful, clean and fresh.

We also used the squash courts, again, a stone throw away from the apartment and enjoyed a few games of bowls on the green (bowls were provided within the apartment).

For food, we often walked to the local supermarket which was a short distance of about 10 minutes... in fact there were 3 supermarkets along with some bars/restaurants, a bakery - with the largest selection of bread and cakes I've ever seen(!), a pizza shop and a few other handy stores with all sorts of products for sale. We we're surprised at the range of stock the supermarkets held - I required some special CDs for my camera and they had them (not even the large local supermarket at home stocks them!).

Within the apartment there were some leaflets of local attractions; we went to the nearby zoo one day which was superb - we fed giraffes and had our photos taken with snakes around our necks! Another day, we went to the water park - which was fantastic, I strongly recommend it. Coral Bay which was only a short 10 minute drive from the apartment is also a must.

We could not fault anything with the apartment or holiday as a whole; the entire experience from the initial enquiry, to booking, arriving and departing was smooth and painless. Great customer service. I rate this experience and apartment an A+/Excellent. Thank you.

Lovely Holiday

On arrival to Peyia Valley we were very impressed by the apartment, just as seen in pictures, very comfortable apartment, furnished and decorated to a very high standard and a well maintained place, we were pleased to discover it had sky tv, squash bats, balls and bowling balls so you can you use the facilities on the complex. Peyia Valley is lovely, a very small chilled out village with lots of nice pubs, The Mill, lovely food here especially the breakfasts! Jail Bar and JJ's and also the Alex bar. Nice eating places too and 2 takeaways to chose from which also deliver, also there is Sophies which is a themed restaurant something different every night the carvery is good on sundays. Everyone on the complex is very friendly and helpful many of them actually live there so can recommend places to visit and eat.This is the the third time we have been to Peyia and have loved it everytime. Coral bay is also a lovely eating and drinking place and ideal for shopping and local amenities, we had some really nice meals down there and there is always some kind of entertainment going on, takes about 10 minutes by car, and is 12 euros back to Peyia Valley. Coral Bay has a very nice beach, and we also drove to Agios Nicholas which has a very small quiet beach, unfortunately we only discovered this on our last day! I would definately recommend that you hire a car, this is for people who want a quite chilled out holiday. Would definately recommend beautiful place for a holiday.

A Relaxing Place to Holiday in Comfort.

We stayed for three weeks in this extremely comfortable apartment.Getting there from Paphos airport was easy. We had a hire car and the directions were spot on.So even though our flight was delayed we arrived safely.
The apartment itself was well furnished, and we enjoyed the satellite TV to keep in touch with the world.Everything worked, and we realy could not fault it.We found the neighbours very helpful,as both next door and upstairs are permanent residents.They helped us with where the best supermarket is,where the nice places to visit were etc.
The complex has a beautiful pool, which we used, as well as the keep fit room.We didn't try the squash court or the bowls green.
We found the Peyia area very interesting, with some nice walks for the late afternoon and early evening.Mostly we didn't use the car for these, but walked from the apartment.The coast down at Coral Bay is busy, but we always got a parking place and a space on the beach.We found a good range of restaurants here, and two internet cafe's.There is also a travel agent on the corner as you turn down the Coral Bay highstreet, and they will arrange day trips to the mountains etc.We talked to holiday makers arriving back from the Mountain Village trip, and they were very enthusiastic about it.
We went over to Latchi and Polis and found it quiet, with large stretches of beach without many visitors.The drive over takes about half an hour, but is worth it as the mountain views are stunning. You should also stop at the Stena Winery, which is just off this road and do the visit.The wine is very good, and you can see the vines growing.
Try the bakery on the road upto Peyia from Coral Bay.It's on the left just before the football Stadium turn off.They have a fabulous range of Greek pastries.
We would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday.

We agree there are some fantastic walking experieces to be had, the views from the mountain walk by the apartment is breathtaking with the Coral Bay coast aspect too.
Thanks for the other tips, we have not driven to Latchi or Polis yet but it is on our agenda, hopefully next time.

Peaceful and relaxing

We spent a pleasant and relaxing week in Ian and Allan's apartment in Peyia. It is well furnished and very comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained and the owners were friendly and obliging. Peyia is a lovely village and the apartment is set a little away from the crowds, which we liked. We were sent detailed directions and although the roads in Cyprus are generally small and windey, we found the apartment without great difiiculty. The village is a reasonable (10 minute) walk away, but for anything else, a car is definitely recommended. Generally any visit to Cyprus requires a car, unless you want to stay in the very touristy beachfront areas and remain in that vicinity - not our cup of tea!

We like to explore and have somewhere quiet and peaceful to retreat to when we have had enough of the holiday bustle. The beach at Coral Bay is a comfortable 10 minute drive and although we were not there in peak season I don't imagine it taking much longer then.

We enjoyed the mountain views and the sound of goats on the neighbouring hillside. All in all it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed the village atmosphere. I would recommend the apartment and the area to visitors looking for a more sophisticated and laid back holiday. This was not our first visit to Cyprus and compared to an apartment we stayed in previously in Kato Paphos, this was tranquil. The previous apartment was pokey and the sounds of people partying and roaring up and down the roads in noisy cars with screeching tyres really detracted from our stay. I would only recommend those busy areas to youngsters who want to party constantly. For us the village in Peyia is far superior and a great base from which to explore this wonderful island.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

To walk or not to walk?

On arrival to the apartment we were pleased to see it was as pictured in on the website, modern and clean.
But the battle to get to the apartment was unfortunately one we and the cab driver were not ready for. Although provided with a map this was not enough to guide us through the rocky, building site roads.

While staying at the apartments we were reassured that not having a car would not be a necessity. But this was very untrue. The walk to the local supermarket took up to 25 mins and the roads had very bad lighting if at all any. Even with a car I would warn drivers to be very careful of the blind corners and speedy local drivers.
So you better make a shopping list... as there is not even any water, milk etc to get you started.
To get to Coral bay beach... well again this was something we expected to get to much faster. A 10 min drive is about 25mins drive and by cab will cost you about 10 euros. Please don’t expect the apartment manager to help with a cab number. You'll need to ask your neighbours in one of the apartments for this.

We would have also been very grateful for a local information pack within the booklet in the apartment. If it were not for the friendly people we and the cab drivers would have been lost everyday..
I think the bottom line is. Even though we were told this was a walk able area to the shops and bars the truth is it really is not and you need to be a very confident driver if not walking.

The apartment is slightly off the main road and the roads are windy but not so bad, infact it’s fair to say that generally the roads in Cyprus aren’t as good as what we are used to in the UK.

For a lazy and relaxing holiday a car is not essential but our website it does clearly recommend that you hire a car….there is so much to see and visit.

I have walked to Peyia village myself, it took me only 10 minutes, perhaps at a slower pace it would take a little longer, and the drive to Coral Bay is only 10 minutes, I have done that too.

With regard to a welcome pack, at present this is something that we don’t offer but are looking into, as for water there is a drinking water tap in the kitchen.

I was surprised that the customer didn’t have a taxi phone number as I did supply this to her when she booked and I arranged the taxi for her pickup at the airport for when they arrived….this we are quite happy to do.

We obviously wish for all our holiday renters to enjoy their stay at the apartment and on this occasion are saddened that the location didn’t quite live up to the expectation.
