Villa Thea is a detached luxury rental Villa for holiday vacations. In the Afandou / Kolymbia area it is located on a hilltop offering outstanding views of the sea, hills and countryside. Accommodation is suitable for 6/8 people in three bedrooms each with balcony, and two single sofa beds in the lounge.. A modern fitted kitchen and spacious living area is complete with all essentials. Air conditioning is free and available in all bedrooms and living area. Outside in the landscaped walled grounds, is a patio to a private 8m x 4m tiled swimming pool. There is private parking space. Suitable for family or group holidays, not forgetting the romantic twosome in a spacious indulgent luxurious environment. Bustling Rhodes Town to the north with its fascinating historical Old town and new town with designer shopping.

Local amenities are a short drive away in Afandou and Kolymbia. Afandou beach provides quiet areas to relax, and Kolymbia bay has two sandy beaches and water sports. Kolymbia is a 25 minute stroll and good for bars and restaurants, and beach with tavernas just a few minutes further. A car is considered essential and Afandou is an excellent place from which to explore this wonderful Island. You must visit picturesque Anthony Quinn bay just a few minutes drive away, and Tsambika beach you must see, just over the hill. Bustling Rhodes Town is to the north with its fascinating historical Old Town and the New Town shopping experience with its departmental and designer shops. Lindos is to the south and well worth the visit. Villa Thea is ideally situated in a central position for access to all the island with it's many superb beaches and landmark locations.

  • All bedrooms have a balcony with a view. Beds 1 and 2 have a sea view whilst Bed 3 has a magnificent inland view of the hills plus a sea view of Kolymbia. Two light aluminium chairs are provided for the balconies of all bedrooms. A matching table can be used on a balcony or for patio use. Throws and covers are provided as shown in photos, however the weather here in Rhodes usually requires use of only a sheet. All bedrooms have curtains to the balcony doors, are air conditioned and have hairdriers. Extra sleeping on single sofas in the lounge.

Notes: Six sunbeds are provided and large umbrella Patio table and six chairs in addition to luxury dining table and chairs. It would be appreciated if guests bring their own beach towels. Internet access is by USB stick for laptop computers and is subject to request and additional bond. Pool is normally emptied out of season from November to end of April. Suitability for elderly or infirm based on using downstairs sofa beds and shower/wet room all on one ground floor level, with small threshold access to patio. Level path from car space. Luxurious hilltop experience

A family of five persons had a wonderful week at Villa Thea. The Villa catered to all our needs. The hilltop location gave beautiful views of the ocean as well as the mountains. Even though it is possible to walk to the nearest village (Kolymbia) (a fantastic walk through olive groves) where you can find bus services to other parts of the island, it is preferable to have rental car. Several beautiful beaches are within half an hour by car - Tsambika and Agathi being the most beautiful. We further recommend visiting Lindos (the castle) and the renovated Roman baths at Kalithea. The old city of Rhodes is a must even though it is crowded. The property was clean and well-maintained. The customer service was swift and accurate. I would definitely recommend this property to other travellers.

Villa Thea

We are a family of 6, with 4 children aged 16months, 2, 5 and 7 and the owners had thought of everything that we might need for our stay. Everything, right down to the directions to the villa was well considered.
The villa is lovely and clean and just as the pictures show.
It is nicely secluded, with lovely views, a car is essential.

The pool is perfect to cool down on those hot days and there are plently of sunbeds and shade available.

I would without hesitation recommend this villa.
Lindos, Rhodes Town and some of the smaller beaches are worth a visit.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful holiday Villa

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 week holiday at this villa. We arrived to find the villa in absolutley tip top order throughout. The house was immaculate with very tasteful furnishings. Everything matched perfectly and there didn't seem to be anything which the owners hadn't thought of to make our stay very comfortable. The pool was lovely and cleaned and maintained regularly by the maintenanace staff, they were extremely helpful with regard to telling us where the best beaches were and the nearest supermarkets. There are many beaches within easy driving distance of the villa and supermarkets within a few minutes drive. We were joined on the second week of our holiday by our son and his girlfriend and they were equally impressed with everything at the villa. I do not hesitate to reccommend the villa to anyone seeking a beautiful and luxurious holiday, with a lovely pool and surround, perfect for couples and families alike.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
