This very spacious self-catering villa is situated in the quiet residential area of Moraira known as La Sabatera - ideal for a family holiday or a romantic getaway! This south-facing rental villa sits on a 1000sq meter plot with all the amenities you could wish for - a private swimming pool (8m x 4m), terrace with outdoor summer kitchen (gas BBQ & fridge), sunbeds, chairs, stone benches, tables & a lovely Mediterranean garden with lots of pine & palm trees. The villa sleeps 6/8 (3 bedrooms ,1 double, 2 twin, & 5' sofa bed in the large living/dining room . 3 bathrooms (2 en suite), outdoor toilet & pool shower. 5 min drive from villa to main beach, town, restaurants, bars, 10 min drive to local golf course. Moraira is approx 57 miles north of Alicante airport and 85 miles south of Valencia airport, with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both. Originally a fishing village, Moraira is now a lovely small resort town surrounded by white-washed villas nestling in the pine clad foothills of the Marina Alta mountains and overlooking fine sandy beaches, calm seas and rocky coves. Moraira is free of high-rise development and package tourism. The village itself has a marina and daily fish market, quaint churches, squares and back streets bursting with shops, bars, wonderful restaurants and a weekly market. Club de Golf Ifach: Situated on the San Jaime Urbanisation on the coast road between Moraira and Calpe is a 9-hole, par 60, 3540m course, set in a beautiful fertile valley with surrounding views of some of the most prestigious properties in Moraira, the Penon de Ifach (Calpe Rock) and the sparkling blue Med. The world famous designer Javier Arana created the Ifach Club to be short and tricky with numerous obstacles. Many experienced golfers have remarked how deceptively difficult it really is.

Just returned from a very relaxing holiday in this well equipped villa. The views from the pool were outstanding and the outside kitchen proved very useful for drinks etc. A few things were in need of repairing but did not detract from our enjoyment.
Owner's Response: We do ask all guests to submit their comments on any aspect of the villa where improvements/repairs should be carried out. This is very much appreciated by us & is vitally essential to the upkeep & smooth running of the villa. The information is passed on to our maintainance people who act as promptly as is possible to carry out any necessary repairs/replacements. In this case the outside light bulb was replaced & the broken bedroom wall light was repaired at the time of changeover. Spare light bulbs are always available at the villa.

every thing was geered for a family holiday

the house had a loverly homely feel .indoor and out side space was very spacious .plenty of room,the outside barbaque area was fab.
property was clean .
as it was the end of the season a few things were not working ,,ie the spa bath was out of action ,the fridge kept defrosting ...a few wall lights needed defrosting, but nothing major too mess up our holiday.
Owner's Response: The maintenance people who look after both of our villas are contactable 24/7 to attend to any problems/breakdowns/repairs, etc. Unfortunately, the whirlpool bath mechanism was broken by previous clients in mid-season & is not possible to repair without huge upheaval. The bath itself is working as normal ... a note of apology was left for guests.The repair to the whirlpool is planned to take place in the autumn. The fridge was checked at changeover & was working normally when temperature control was raised.

This is the 6th summer property rental we have made via HR.com so we have some experience. I can honestly say that this is the best holiday we have had. The owners have clearly invested a great deal of thought and effort into making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The property is well equipped with everything you could need. We particularly liked the outdoor kitchen including barbeque and fridge for chilling drinks. Moraira is a lovely town (we talked of retirement there!) and the property is well situated, with good views to the sea and it catches any available breeze.
Thanks so much for making it a great holiday for us.
