Fun time at Villa Tymnessos

Dear Sean and Morgan,
Just to say that we had a fantastic week in Villa Tymnessos. Thank you for all the information prior to our departure this was informative and very useful. The whole booking and smooth transfer arrangements through your agent (Hamza) was professionally handled, it was nice to meet him during our stay. We stayed in the Villa with our teenagers, the Villa was fabulous, spacious and the views breathtaking. The Villa was spotlessly clean, and we noticed the pool and gardens were maintained early each morning.
We walked into Kalkan most days and there were plenty of great places to eat and shops to wonder through. For those non enthusiastic walkers (its about 20 min stroll) taxis are readily available and very reasonable. The local people were so friendly, our teenagers made many friends no doubt they will keep in touch via facebook! We spent many afternoons at the Beach Club in Kalamar Bay, its a steep hill walk but worth it, but you can book the courtesy bus that comes up to the Villa to collect you. There is a fee of 7.50 tl for the day which gets you a sunbed, access to the water activities (the water trampoline was great fun), pedalos etc plus the use of the courtesy bus so very good value, the staff are very welcoming and they offer a wide range of food. There is a diving school in Kalamar Bay and also in Kalkan. The teenagers are advanced divers and they went out on 4 boat dives and a shore dive at the Kalamar Bay dive centre. The PADI team there were really great and the diving photos will soon be up on the kalkan diving website! For any diving enthusiasts there are numerous dive sites without having to travel too far out on the boats, also for those wishing to scuba its a great place to learn as the bay is very calm and water crystal clear. If you book in advance of your journey you can get a 10% discount. I suppose the only negative about the Villa is which balcony to sit on as each view is spectacular! We would highly recommend this Villa to anyone considering a holiday to Turkey you will not be disappointed. We will definitely return there in the near future.
