This quiet, peaceful & luxurious self-catering apartment is set in a new small exclusive complex in a small village it has been beautifully furnished & has been equipped to a very high standard. Sorry but no smoking & no pets. It is a one bed room accommodating two adults. The apartment has balconies from both the living room & from the bedroom offering sea & countryside views to the side of both. The complex has three private swimming pools (including a children’s pool) & tennis court for those feeling energetic. The select blue flag beaches of Praia Nossa Senhora da Rocha & Praia Nova are within a five minute stroll of the accommodation. The apartment is ideal for summer or winter holiday’s, short breaks & activity breaks such as golf, scuba diving, swimming, snorkelling, fishing, horse riding & water parks all of which are within reach in this stunning area in the Central Algarve. There are a few restaurants & bars within walking distance as is the luxury Pestana Viking Hotel.

This apartment is very centrally located and close to the towns of Armacao de Pera, Carveiro, and Lagoa, but it is also ideally for those who wish to merely retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Only a five minute stroll away is two of the best blue flag sandy beaches on the Algarve. There a few restaurants within walking distance of the apartment including one on the beach and one on the cliff top both unique and beautiful. Close by is a fantastic luxury hotel, which offers five-star facilities including a spa and beauty treatments. There is an abundance of golf courses stretching across of the Algarve.   • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the booking total is to be paid immediately. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days awaiting written confirmation and deposit. The remaining balance is to be paid 2-3 weeks before arrival date.
  • A 200 GB pound breakage bond is also required with the final payment. This will be returned in the post to you within 24 hours of your departure providing no damage has occurred.
  • A before-arrival cleaning and linen service is included.

Notes: The spacious living area has seating for 4 people on quality leather sofa`s. There is a television, DVD player and sky. The contemporary décor of dark oak furniture and local canvas art adds to the quality and ambiance of this property. The kitchen is a good size, well equipped and well stocked with utensils, ideal for dining in. The bedroom has a large built in wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinets. Balconies from both the bedroom and the living area offer fantastic locations for breakfasts, dining, lingering over a glass of wine or just relaxing with a book. Views over the country side and of the sea can be seen from both balconies. Air-conditioning and central heating is available at an additional cost of 20 Euro's per week. Algarve Weather: The Algarve is renowned for it's wonderful climate and warm sea temperatures as it enjoy's some of the longest sunshine hours in Europe with an average 320 days of sunshine a year. You will almost always be guaranteed sunshine in the peak summer months with average temperatures ranging from 24 to 34 degrees centigrade and 15 to 18 degrees centigrade in winter. The average sea temperatures in summer range from 21 to 24 degrees centigrade, and in winter are from 15 to 19 degrees centigrade. All year round water sports such as surfing or windsurfing are popular largely due to such superb warm seawater temperatures. You'll find the pleasant sea breezes cooling in peak season which take the edge off the heat, however don't be fooled the sun is still beating down so suntan lotion is a must all year round!

This holiday truly exceeded our expectations. It was our first visit to Portugal and we loved it!
On arrival we were met by Margaret who acts on behalf of April as a point of contact whilst you are in Portugal. She was most definitely a bonus as was the comprehensive welcoming pack, which contains information on what to see, where to eat out etc.. we found it extremely useful.
This certainly was a luxury holiday. The apartment was 1st class, exceptionally clean and fitted out to a very high standard containing all you would need. We spent much of our time on the balconies enjoying meals and generally relaxing.
There are some excellent walks along the cliff tops with sea views and access to some of the Algarve's beautiful beaches. The apartment itself is just a short walk from the beach and a variety of excellent restaurants within the surrounding area, all of which are in walking distance. Including a lovely beach restaurant which served up a superb meal and fantastic views from its balcony. It was so relaxing!
There are other great places within the Algarve, but I think this location was perfect, the village is still an active fishing village (unlike a lot of the more commercialised resorts). I helped one of the Fishermen push his boat up the sandy beach early one morning and was greeted with a huge grin and an offer to visit the fish shack at the bottom of the village that evening! There I found out that these fishermen go out and catch the fresh fish for the beach restaurant.
I truly feel that I can't put in to words how much we loved our holiday.
We want to thank April for all her help and patients with our endless email's! We will be back this year, you made our holiday wonderful, thank you so much again.

We had a really enjoyable holiday. Loved the apartment especially sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down. A hired car would have been a bonus but managed to walk in to Armacao de Pera three times. Twice in the morning for a very enjoyable breakfast at a cafe which was really popular with the Portuguese.

The apartment was perfect! Extremely clean, well appointed, and spacious. Location is excellent. We are active walkers and were very comfortable walking to the beaches, restaurants, markets, and even into town. There is no need for a car at this location.
The reasons I gave our experience 4 stars instead of 5 was due to some difficulties each way regarding the money transfers for the bond, and the problem trying to find the apartment after arriving late at night, which left us scrambling to find a place to sleep our first night in Portugal. Also, we hadn't expected the A/C to be an extra charge.
Once we were in and settled the apartment exceeded all of our expectations, and actually is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures!
The beaches are only a few minutes stroll away, and are absolutely stunning. There are several restaurants nearby, and some wonderful markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and cheese lunches while relaxing on the balcony and taking in the constant sunshine and blue skies.
The summer weather was perfect, the other vacationers at the resort were very friendly, and the apartment is so quiet and comfortable it is a total relaxation escape.

Great week away to unwind

My girlfriend and I had the most relaxing holiday last week, it was just what the doctor ordered. The apartment was absolutely perfect for us, allowing us to cook 4 nights out of 7 as the kitchen was superb. The location is just as great, with 3 pools in the complex which are lovely as well as a 10 minute walk to the beach, and on top of all this a 10 minute walk to the supermarket which has a fantastic range of food. We also noticed that we were far away of the mass tourist crowds which meant we could relax down at the beach as well as in the restaurants around. I would recommend this for anyone want to have a quite week away to unwind. Thank you again for everything
