Leysin is located at the top of the mountain with spectacular view. In the summer we are 30 min from the Montreux Jazz festival. In the winter we have great skiing with a great snowpark. Diableret is only 20min drive away for different ski slops. During the summer there is great tennis, hiking, biking, padrapanting, indoor swimming, squash, and dirt scoots from your doorstep. During the winter there is skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snow shoeing, tobogganing, ice skating, and an indoor pool

Notes: There is free wire less for internet that is provided through out leysin, but it cuts off every 30min. You have to bring your own lab top. There is a great public sport center that has a indoor pool and fitness room. They are not free of charge. The apartment is non smoking but you may smoke on the balcony. The apartment is on the 3 floor and there is NO elevator.

General information: Leysin is a small village in the French speaking part of Switzerland, often called the “sun capital” of the Swiss Alps. Plein Ciel is a one bedroom apartment in the lower Leysin village with a spectacular top floor view of the Alps. It is located adjacent to a prepared cross-country ski trail, three walking minutes from a sport centre, and ten walking minutes from alpine ski lifts. Leysin is accessible by auto, post bus, and cog train from Aigle and only 30 minutes from Montreaux and 90 minutes from Geneva.

summer activitys : During the summer there is great tennis, hiking, biking, padrapanting, indoor swimming, squash, and dirt scoots from your doorstep.

ski information: Leysin is a great intermediate resort. There is easy runs lots of intermediate and some harder runs. Leysin has a great snow park with Burton snowboards as its sponsor. Lift tickets for children age 8 and younger are FREE. If you need ski equipment you receive 10% staying with us at the local sports store.

Ski: Leysin Les Mosses is a resort with great beginner to expert sloops. There is 26 lifts with 100km of sloops and 72 snow canons.

Lovely apartment! Apartment is very sunny and cosy, but also spacious and very clean with nice, modern furniture. The views are stunning! In addition to the description, there is a satellite tv, stereo with cd player & a dvd player. It's situated 2 min walk from the shuttle bus (but this only ran once every hour when we were there), or else a 15 minute walk uphill to the lift (but very close to bars and restaurants).
Owner is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and would come back to this appartment without any hesitation!

Just to let you know how much we enjoyed our second holiday in Leysin. The apartment was great, well furnished, clean, comfortable, great views and with all the facilities we needed. The location was in the lower part of the village, close to some of the best restaurants. It was ideal for us. It was about a 10 - 15 min walk uphill to the ski lift station, or a couple of minutes to ski bus stop. We would definitely consider staying here on our next trip to Leysin. The owner provided a first class service.
