The Merchants Hideaway is an attractive Grade ll listed period apartment oozing charm and character with an abundance of exposed beams and polished wood floors. This delightful holiday home sleeps 4/5 and is situated in the heart of Tewkesbury town centre above an old fashioned sweet shop/cafe. It is a few steps from the River Severn and Avon. Tewkesbury Abbey and an array of pubs, restaurants, gift shops, and tea rooms. It is perfectly positioned for exploring the Cotswolds and has direct links to central Cheltenham via bus. The property is accessed through a pretty courtyard garden (patio set available) by an external stone staircase to the first floor:- Entrance hall - with oak staircase. Kitchen- Complete with microwave , washing machine, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. Lounge/dining room - heavily beamed, polished oak floors Bathroom - with roll top bath and shower Master bedroom - King size bed and views to Malvern hills, master bedroom and two single bedrooms.

Bel Appartement traditionnel tenu par des propriétaires non dérangeants. Après des visites de boutiques ou touristiques sur Tewkesbury (l'Abbey et autres monuments historiques) ou dans la région (Costwolds), on est bien contents de rentrer dans l'appartement. Les prestations valent celles d'1 Hôtel 4 étoiles, avec la propreté, les serviettes de bains fournies, etc ... comme de vrais professionnels. Comme c'est situé à 1 carrefour des plus grandes villes (entre 20 et 100 km), on a pris largement le temps de visiter chaque jour une ville comme Bristol, Birmingham, Gloucester, Oxford. Je vous recommande vivement ce bel appartement reposant.

Beautiful traditional apartment held by owners not disturbing . After visits of shops or touristic visits in Tewkesbury (the Abbey and the other historic monuments) or in the region ( Costwolds), after being enough tired, we really appreciate to come back to the apartment. The services are those of a 4-star hotel, with the cleanliness, the supplied bath towels, etc. as true professionals. As it is situated at a crossroads of big cities (between 11 and 60 miles), we widely took time to visit every day a city as Bristol, Birmingham, Gloucester, Oxford. I deeply recommend you this beautiful restful apartment.

Thinking of staying in the heart of the town of Tewkesbury, you would expect it to be a little bit of hussle and bussle , but the exact opposite was to be found, this house is situated near the river, and it couldn't be more peaceful. The owners couldn't be more helpful and informative and the house was up to scratch, with everything you would expect. Recommended for a variety of getaways.

We, a family of five, had two wonderful weeks in this luxury house, everything you need is there. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in every situation. The house is very comfortabel and you can sit outside in a nice little courtyard.
Tewkesbury is an ideal place to visit the whole Gloucestershire.

Als Touristen aus Deutschland haben wir uns in diesem sehr komfortabel ausgestatteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt, zumal der Vermieter sehr gut Deutsch spricht.
