Tewkesbury lies within the heart of the Cotswolds and offers a wealth of delights for the visitor. It is the ideal base from which to sample the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Delightful timber framed houses and narrow alleyways surround an outstanding twelfth century Benedictine Abbey. CHELTENHAM GOLD CUP WEEK............ many cafes in the vicinity prepare special breakfasts and a lift to the race course can be arranged. Alternately a direct bus route to Cheltenham is a few steps away.
