Deep in the heart of Tuscany this manor from the 18th century is in one of the most beautiful areas in Tuscany. It was redeveloped entirely however has retained the typical Tuscan architecture. On a property of 44.000 square metres fenced in property, there is a small lake (which is fed by a spring from Monte Amiata), a tennis court, a pool with a big sunbathing area, a boccia court and grill area. The big country house was divided into 41 apartments on two floors. The house has retained its Tuscan atmosphere and the good utilities. The arrangement is 2 kilometres from Castel del Piano, where the historic centre provides all shops for all daily needs, restaurants, bars, etc. Pienza can be reached in 25 minutes,-Montepulciano, Montecatini in 35 minutes, Siena, the Parco dell'Uccellina in 45 minutes and the sea in an hour by car.

The holiday region around the Monte Amiata offers the possibility, many historical and cultural places with famous names, like Siena, to you Pienza or San Gimignano of visiting. Or you spoil yourselves with a bath in the hot sources of Petriola and Saturnia or you move by nature parks like the Parco Faunistico with Santa Fiora. Moving ways pull the area through up to a height of 1730 m to wonderful places, clear brooks and lakes. In the winter the skiing area of the Monte Amiata is fast attainable. In the summer the sea with the fine beaches is distant with Grossetto only about one hour by car.

Description of the rural house: The rural house is redeveloped in 2004 and retained the typical Tuscan architecture with timber beam at the ceiling and parts of the original stonewall in the living-room and bedroom. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a big living-room with an integrated kitchen and a fire-place. It is very comfortable within a heating in all rooms and of course air-condition which guarantee a pleasant climate. There is a large terrace at the first floor and also at the ground floor to have a nice breakfast or dinner outside. The Rustico guarantees the maximum of privacy but also all the benefits of a residence with a large pool including child zone, sports ground (tennis, boccia court, and grill area) which are enclosed and completely fenced. The entrance to the property is through an automatic gate that guarantees the maximum of security.

Location, pool and house were superb. The property is is well furnished exceptionally clean and very well maintained. There are some fabulous restaurants within a few miles drive from the house and also in Castel del Piano which can be reached by foot from a pathway through the vineyards behind the lake. It is only a few minutes drive by car and there are lots of restaurants in the main street and square and some interesting shops. The bakery supplies fresh bread, rolls and pasta

The location is peacefull and relaxing but with lots of interesting historic hillside villages and towns to visit with a half hours journey.
