Lagos has an ancient past and this is evident in the old town. The museums, “gold church” and old slave market are a must see. For the water sports enthusiasts there is a wealth of activities including paragliding, scuba diving, water-skiing, sailing, surfing and yacht chartering to name but a few. A 25 minute drive will take you to the west coast of Portugal. Here the magnificent coastline and beaches are quite simply stunning and there are plenty of places to stop and have lunch whilst enjoying the fabulous scenery.
The warmth of Lagos and her people make it difficult to resist falling in love with this seaside town and this is why so many people return year after year.
