New luxurious, air conditioned, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom property. Set on the Vila Sol 27 hole championship golf course. This is a great location for family based enjoyment (those of us that don't want to play golf). The apartment is equipped with 4 tennis rackets and balls for the 2 three quarter astro courts and the 2 full size tennis courts, 2 inflatable lilos for the children to enjoy around the pool. Cluedo, Monopoly, bat and ball and Cable TV and DVDs for the children. For non golfers there is a luxurious spa, choice of 4 pools including 2 children's pools, (one indoor pool) cost 7 euros with our discount card. Set in beautiful natural surroundings with many paths to walk along. Pretty walk and jogging tracks, plus a superb 5* hotel with its choice of fantastic restaurants and great breakfasts. Vilamoura beach is nearby (short car ride) and just 10 mins away is the fabulous marina. Faro airport is within easy access. The spectacular Aqua show water park is just 5 minutes away

Notes to the rental rates

• A deposit of 25% of the price of your apartment rental is due within 7 days of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 75% plus a sum of £200 will be added to the final balance to cover damage, breakages and key return. This is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. The £200 is fully refundable once the property has been inspected and keys and owners passes have been returned. Paypal now accepted.
  
• Meals or light lunches, such as toasties, chips and salads can be obtained from the Golf Club House, regardless of whether you are playing golf or not and it's very children friendly. We always have lunch there when we first arrive we drop off the cases and head there for toasties with our 2 children. The orange juice is fabulous it's freshly squeezed and usually comes from local farms The Hotel is a good place to eat breakfast or for evening meals, both of which are within 5 minutes walk away. We supply our owners passes so you can receive discounts off meals on the complex.

Vilamoura Marina is approx 10 mins drive away. There are numerous shops and restaurants around the beautiful marina, which is the largest in Europe and one of the most idyllic. Further afield there are Medieval castles that date back to the 10th Century within 20 mins drive at Silves. Portugal is steeped in history from the many crusades and conflicts that has embroiled western Europe over the last thousand years. Each Town offers it's own unique and diverse character and the landscape in the Algarve is very green and picturesque. There are quaint fishing villages, Roman ruins, fantastic architecture to explore easily within a 60-90 minutes drive. The way of life in Portugal is lived at a peaceful and very slow pace, if you want a restful pictuersque holiday without all over commercialised side of things Vilamoura is the place to see. You can be in Spain in under 1 hour!

Special interest holidays

Ria Formosa is a Unesco protected natural wildlife park, which is approx 20 minute car drive away. Here you may see birds on their migrating pathway from Africa to Europe, as they stop to rest and eat the shrill and other indigenous foods needed to carry them on their journey. At certain times of year you may see thousands of Flamingos as they migrate.

For Golf lovers this has to be one of the very best places to be based in the Algarve. This beautifully furnished and equiped apartment is set on the Vila Sol Golf complex. Vila Sol has hosted the Portuguese Open and is one of top 10 courses in the Algarve. In 2001 Vila Sol won the prize for best golf development. The Club House is within a 5 minute walk from the Apartment. Algarve is one of the most beautiful and popular place to play golf in Europe. The Millennium course is set between umbrella pines trees and rolling park land, this course is a new challange, SanLorenzo currentley ranked no 5 in europe said this is a must for the demanding golfer. The old course built in 1969 is a classic course, one you will love to play.
