Self-catering apartment located 100 mts from the entrance of the Roman Forum and 200 mts from Campidoglio Square; for its unique position is the ideal location if you want an exclusive vacation in the heart of this immortal city. Enjoying a pleasant stroll to Venice square, Trastevere and Campo dei Fiori is a great emotion not only for foreigners but for residents as well. The apartment has been recently restored and consists of a main double bedroom , a small bedroom with bunk beds, a dining room and a bathroom. In the dining room there is a sofa tha can be a comfortable couch for an adult or a child. The kitchen corner is well furnished also with a dish washer. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower, a bidet, and the toilet. There is no air conditioning because the apartment has an ideal temperature in Summer while in Winter it has a central heating system. The dining room and the small bedroom are separated by a door from the rest of the house, the main bedroom and the bathroom

The apartment location allows visitors to walk among the most amazing Roman ruins, churches, monuments and squares. The Colosseum and the Roman Forum are just round the corner. At walking distance there are the best theatres and shopping streets like Spain Square, Frattina street, Condotti street. Ostia, with its well equipped beach and its nightlife is only 20 minutes by train. There are two important parks nearby, Villa Celimontana and Villa Panfili where visitors can go jogging or just walking . There is a cycling path along the banks of the river Tiber a few hundred meters from the apartment.Besides that, Lazio, the region where Rome is situated, is in the center of Italy, in an ideal position to visit the most beautiful places in Italy like Tuscany, only two hours by train, Umbria with its small incontaminated villages or Abruzzo with its mountains where it's possible to ski in Winter and admire its beauty in Summer.Termini and Ostiense railway station are only 10 minutes by bus

Notes: The house has been recently restaured and benefits of all the comforts which will enable you to enjoy a nice holiday in a familiar environment; the heating system serves only the apartment and can be regulated on the temperature required. The window has a pleasant view on the courtyard with antique Roman columns and can be a nice playing space for children. The elegant place allows a holiday apart from the noise and chaos of other areas of the city and it is the best way to appreciate the beauty of this amazing city. Very close to the building there are some of the most important picture shows in the city like the 'Vittoriano' and 'Scuderie del Quirinale'. In the evening it is just extraordinary to walk admiring the lights of the Roman Forum or sitting down in the beautiful square made by the genius of Michelangelo, 'Campidoglio Square'. Also at night you can see the magnificence of the Colosseum and Fori Imperiali.

If you like skiing , a very nice skiing resort is easy to reach by the highway A24 which takes you to Abruzzo in two hours time.The names of the holiday resorts are 'Campo Felice' and 'Ovindoli' with plenty of ski slopes. In the area near the flat you will find many different possibilities to rent a car if you want to visit other Italian Regions. Otherwise the railway is only 10 minutes far by bus. There is a bus station 200 mt from the house.

Fantastic location. Good value for money. A quiet oasis away from the crowds but still very close to the Forum. The kitchen was basic and a bit small. Only one settee for 4 people. Naturally cool and overlooking a quiet courtyard. We had problems finding a local shop for groceries. There is a supermarket at Termini station and Ostiense station.

L'appartement est idéalement situé dans un quartier très calme, à côté du Forum, du Capitole et du Colisée.
Il est très bien équipé, avec 3 pièces bien distinctes. La literie est confortable. Le linge de toilette est fourni en suffisance et l'accueil est fort sympathique !
Bref, le séjour y est très agréable.

we stayed in this aprtment for 5 nights with 2 kids. Lucy has been most helpful - on the day we arrived she showed me around the area - the grocer etc.
The location is fantastic - not 100 but 50 mitres to Roman Forum, about 15 min walk to Colloseum, 7 min to Piazza Venezia.
The grocer 5 min away had all we needed.
The place was very clean and there is a small courtyard in the middle of the building. The bed - comfortable, nice white linen, we were very impressed. The little bedroom with the bunk bed was perfect for the kids. Overall - most pleasnat experience, will highly recommend.
Owner's Response: It's a pleasure to make everything nice and comfortable for my guests and I enjoy meeting them, speaking their language and providing all the information they need to enjoy their holiday in one of the most enchanting places in Rome, so quiet and beautiful, even in the real heart of the city.
