Notes to the rental rates

• - If your stay is for over one week, free apartment cleaning is provided.
  - Private parking, security service, maintenance, and all pool accesses are included
  - If you wish to play golf, please advise us with time in order to issue your playa macenas membership card (up to 6 people from the same apartment)
  
• Booking deposit of €250 is required (non-refundable in the event of cancellation). Full rental to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival or reservation could be cancelled.
  Please confirm your arrival time a minimum of 3 days in advance to assure all is ready for you and your holiday commences with a big smile! Departures no later than 11 a.m.
  Minimum stay: 1 week.
  Must advise when completing payment if you play golf and wish to have privileged access to the beach club amenities in order to issue a provisional membership card.
  Flights: Thursday flights to Almeria (71km from apartment) from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast. Daily flights from Stansted and Gatwick and Luton to either Alicante or Murcia (160km from apartment) via easy jet go or buzz. There are also flights from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca and Dublin.

Dining Out

Eating out in Mojacar and its surrounding villages and towns is an eating experience not to be missed. The area's gastronomy is varied and exquisite both for seafood enthusiasts and meat eaters alike. A wide selection of beach bars and restaurants in the area cater for almost every taste, most staying open until you decide to leave. The old village of Mojacar, a short distance away is full of character and charm. Its labyrinth of cobbled walkways offer a variety of restaurants and quaint shops as well as spectacular views of the surrounding areas.

Leasure Details

There are a great variety of leisure activities on offer in Mojacar: various water sports to be enjoyed on Mojacar's blue flag sandy beach, canoeing, horse-riding, microlite and ultralite flights, quad bike hire, windsurfing, banana and sausage rides, water-skiing, sea canoes, kite flying, scuba-diving and snorkelling to name but a few. In the Tabernas desert the Mini-Hollywood Cowboy Town has been the scene of countless westerns. Wild West shoot-outs, bank robberies, can-can dancing and public 'hangings' are some of the attractions. A zoo and a 'parrot spectacular' have also made their home on the Range. A fun day for the family can be enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings of the Aqua-Park situated in the district of Vera.

Skiing Information:

Check out Sierra Nevada's website to see what you can enjoy only two hours away: I was a ski teacher in Sierra Nevada in the past, so please feel free to ask me any questions about the resort, the slopes, the ski-schools and the access. If you plan to go, be very careful with the weather forecast; in Sierra Nevada when it snows it can be well over a metre before it stops!! ;-) Remember that Pradollano, the town, is located at 2.150 mts above sea level, and Borreguiles, the central lift distribution point, is at 2.750 mts. The season starts beginning of December and ends as late as mid May, but the quality of the snow varies enormously as the winters can be quite mild at times.

Golf Information:

The Playa Macenas Golf & Beach Resort has an 18 hole golf course which nestles between the complex. The golf course at Playa Macenas Beach & Golf Resort has been designed to be the backbone of the whole development, creating an extraordinarily beautiful landscape right by the sea. With its indigenous species of vegetation and the green of its fairways and greens the course seems like a visual continuation of the gardens. The course has been designed to challenge and reward golfers of all levels and boasts an original design, with natural and man-made hazards that provide an added challenge to each round. The sea views are yet another attraction, making for an unforgettable golfing experience. Valle del Este, Desert Springs, and Cortijo Grande are some other golf courses in the area that you can enjoy.
