Having stayed a few times in this area, this Villa has the best views by far. After a very long drive, within an hour of arriving we were on the terrace with the children happily in the pool, totally relaxed. There are two terraces, but we lived on the top one, excpet when we all played table tennis. The layout is excellent - with the kitchen and lounge all leading on to the terrace, and the pool on the same level. We only cooked on the BBQ which was easy, and there is plenty of good quality matching crockery and glasses, which can be unusual in rental properties. Everything you might have wanted was there.
The pool and terrance lose the sun at about 5ish which was a shame for the pool area, but did mean that the terrace and bedrooms were never too hot, and we always slept well, and never had that low late sun to deal with. All the linen and towels and bath towels are very high quality, and useful to have SKY to keep up with the news! As mentioned in other reviews the drive is very steep, and ensure that you reverse down with care. Although the villa is on a main road do not be worried as there is little traffice noise, and the terrace is on the other side of the house. Theoule sur Mer does get busy unless you get there early or late evening which suited us better with young children. Cannes only a 20 min drive away and a huge hypermarket at La Napoule where you can get everything. We rarely ventured out as it was far more relaxing to stay at the villa. Take binoclulars so you can see the huge super yachts better!! A very relaxing holiday in a very special villa.
