Romantic country house with garden set in olive groves. The house is in a country location and is ideal for couples who want a private house with self-catering but within a short drive to the Mediterranean sea and the local town of Imperia.

Nearest Train: Imperia at 12 Kilometres

Car: necessary
The house is located in a tranquil village set among olive groves. It is roughly twenty minutes drive from the sea and the local town of Imperia with its many beaches. There are high quality restaurants and trattorie in the area serving typical Ligurian food. It is only ten minutes to the well known village of Dolcedo with bars and pizzerie. There are numerous tracks for hill walking and mountain biking. Weekly markets selling local produce can be found in nearby Oneglia and Porto Maurizio. In the summer months local towns and villages host feste and musical events. Sailing and water sports can be found in Imperia and other local towns such as Diano Marina and Sanremo. Costiolo is an easy drive from airports in Nice, Genoa and Turin. It is an area of olive oil production and wine making. We recommend the fresh fish which can be purchased in the port of Oneglia directly from local fishermen. Trips can be made to the Olive Oil Museum, the Waterpark in Ceriale and the Acquarium in Genoa.

Ligurian delight

We have repeatedly returned to this delightful and well designed property set on a Ligurian hillside with a view of olive groves and country churches nestling amongst the trees. Set in the tiny but friendly hamlet of Costiolo it is tranquil ,and is also close to little towns with excellent restaurants and ethnic Italian food and only a short drive to the beach and town of Imperia. The property is incredibly stylish and impeccably clean and the charming little garden adds a slice of outdoor heaven for dining and reading al fresco. We cannot recommend it highly enough!Ideal for walkers and hikers and cyclists and those who just want to chill.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war einfach aber gut eingerichtet, der Garten mit Sitzgelegenheit war sehr, sehr schön. Die Gegend ist paradiesisch.
