Casa Carol is a luxury villa with a private heated pool 9.5M x 4.5M. The house is set on a mountain overlooking a valley with breathtaking mountain forest views. This modern split level villa has spacious rooms, a separate games room with a full size pool table, dartboard, body boards, lilos, rings etc. There is also a separate LCD TV for the PlayStation and board games available. In the large living area there are two leather sofas, a LCD 32’ TV satellite (free view), stereo/CD player, DVD player and DVDs. Also there is a dining room table and chairs. There is a separate hall, kitchen and utility room. outside there are two terrace areas, One with a table, chairs and parasol to seat 8 people,pool area with a swing chair, 8 sun loungers, large surrounding gardens to sit and relax in. The pool area is a sun trap and receive full sun all day. Private parking. Within a 5-20 min drive you can avail of go-karting, bowling, surfing, tennis, fishing, golf and many other facilities.

There are a number of wonderful beaches 15-20 mins drive away from the Villa, these include the bay of Sao Martinho do Porto, Foz do Arelho beach 15 mins drive for water sports, restaurants, bars, ideal for families, Nazare town and beach is worth a visit and a trip on the tram/asender takes you to the hilltop with breathtaking views. The surfing beaches of Baleal and Penice and the water park makes a great day out. You can also avail of the beautiful Obidos lagoon for fishing, water sports, and boating. Peniche 20 mins drive, you can avail of surfing, boat trips, water park, restaurants, bars and Go Karting. Golf courses approx 12km away from villa. There are many golf courses near the area. Car essential. The town of Obidos holds a number of festivals throughout the year.

  • Please contact us by email or phone. Booking deposit 25% of the full rental cost to secure booking with the balance paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. 250 euro breakage/damage deposit is also required which is returned within 2 weeks of your departure after checked by our local agent. During the colder months we may take a surcharge for gas heating, only if fuel usage has been excessive.
  • Notes on prices
    Prices are for the property per week in euros. Pool heating included in price if requested.

    Changeover day is Saturday during peak times otherwise flexible. Check-in after 4pm and check out by 10am.

    Towels and linen are included (not beach towels). The villa will be cleaned before your arrival and each week thereafter including clean towels and linen.
    Please note towels provided must not be used on the beach, thank you.

Special interest holidays:- The town of Obidos holds a number of festivals throughout the year. These include the medieval festival in July which cannot be missed, the town of Obidos comes alive with locals displaying medieval costume, food and dance. The highlight being a stroll around the medieval village with its display of entertainment, local crafts, food and great wine. Also in July is the famous wine festival in Bombarral. The Christmas festival held from December to January that will have the kids in amazement as it feels like a magic kingdom with Christmas trees and lights lining the cobbled streets, artificial snow and the castle walls covered in a band of Christmas lights. You can skate on the ice rink or wiz down the snow slides, It is a wonderful place to ring in the new year. There is also a chocolate festival in February where everything is made out of chocolate, life size chocolate statues on view and of course chocolate to eat and drink.

There is a daily market in Caldas da Rainha in the square everyday that sell fresh fish, fruit etc. However the biggest market is every Monday from 9-12 noon, not far from the square up the hill.2km This market sells everything you could possible want . . It's certainly worth a visit.

Gerne denken wir zurück an unseren wunderbaren Urlaub in der Villa Carol .Das Haus ist in einem sehr gepflegten und liebevoll eingerichtetem Zustand. Selbst vom großen, beheitzten Pool aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick über das ganze Tal. Carol, die Hausbesitzerin hatte einen sehr guten Email-Kontakt mit uns gepflegt. Auch das sehr nette Verwalterehepaar war immer hilfsbereit. Jederzeit würden wir unseren Urlaub wieder in diesem tollen Haus verbringen.
Ein Auto ist unbedingt nötig.
