High quality, attractive, well-equiped, almost new first floor apartment. Bedrooms have twin beds. The lounge includes a bed settee. The communal pool has a childrens shallow area. The Villamartin Plaza with a good supermarket and cash points and the golf club are 5 minutes walk away. The Plaza is a picturesque 2 storey complex of restaurants and bars with evening entertainment around a fountain with palm trees and tropical plants. Children and teenagers meet at the centre and have a great time. Many other precincts nearby have similar amenities. Los Dolses has an internet cafe. There are about 12 superb golf courses in the area. Clubbers can go to Pacha and other clubs at Torrevieja. Many lovely beaches are nearby with bars, restaurants and good facilities and nearby Torrevieja has a good waterpark. There are many local markets nearby. Torrevieja sea front has a market late into the evenings with a vibrant atmosphere. Murcia Airport (San Javier) - 20 mins, Alicante Airport - 45 mins

Notes to the rental rates

• The above prices apply to 4 persons only. Additional persons to a maximum of 6 may be considered at an additional charge.
  LONG STAY RATES...(1) March to October 2008 Inclusive £150 per week for minimum 5 weeks stay (2) November 2008 to February 2009 inclusive £125 per week for minimum 6 weeks. Further long stay 2009 rates to be determined..speak to the owners.
  Normal rates for summer 2009 are yet to be determined but are expected to be similar to 2008
  
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required on all confirmed bookings. The balance has to be paid 6 weeks before the holiday starts. A refundable damage deposit of £100 must be paid plus cleaning costs an additional £65 which includes bed linen/towels change.
  Payment by cheque or bank transfer to our UK bank (or in euros to our Spanish bank).
  The price includes full use of communal pools, electricity, water, air-con, etc.
  
• Payment will be accepted in euros if required, the conversion rate from sterling to be determined by the owners (a) at the time of booking for the deposit and (b) for the final balance at the time of payment.

Cycling - Are there any traffic-free routes?

There is a canal service road running between San Miguel and Pilar de Horadada which can be accessed near Villamartin. Cars do use it but it isn't busy. Between a point near the Campoamor golf course and Pilar there is virtually no traffic apart from that concerned with the maintenance of the canal or agricultural activities which makes it ideal for relaxed cycling. Also as it runs alongside a canal it isn't at all hilly.

There are about 12 good courses in the area very nearby, the nearest being Villamartin Golf Course which is only a 5 minute walk from the property and is probably the most well-known in the area for hosting the prestigious Mediterranean Open. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 72, 6130m. Campoamor has an extensive five star clubhouse with terraces that provide superb views. Golf apart, it is a great place to go and eat. The course is covered in lush grass and is surrounded by beautiful pine woods and orange trees. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 71, 5830m. Las Ramblas offers a challenging course through valleys and over rugged terrain. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 72, 5770m. There is also La Finca golf course having views inland towards the beautiful mountainous landscape in the north. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 72, 6416m. Most courses in the area are on a pay per play basis.
