Choice of a seafront 2 bedroom brand new apartment or a romantic 1 bedroom penthouse, having a large balcony and large terrace respectively both overlooking the bay. There is garden furniture in the balcony/terrace to enjoy the view and romantic sunsets. The kitchen dining sitting combined (4.6mx7.5m) has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, leather sofa or sofa beds, TV and washing machine. The main bedroom has twins, bedside tables, chest of drawers, big wardrobe and vanity. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and wardrobe. All beds have orthopaedic mattresses and individual reading lights. In the combined room there is space also for 2 sofa beds and wardrobe plus bureau/vanity thus increasing the apartments sleeping capacity to 6 and the penthouse to 4. Both are fully equipped with iron and iron board, fans/heaters. towels, linen, blankets, toaster, radio etc. Both have lift access, intercom & insect screans. A brand new 2 bedroom apartment and located on the seafront just in front of the old fishing harbour. A rocky beach with sunbathing area and reserved swimming zone is just 150 m from the apartment. Apartment has a combined large living sitting kitchen and study room of 4.7m x 7 m with a 3.3 m wide balcony door and 3.3m x1m balcony overlooking the bay. The main bedroom has 2 single beds , vanity, chest of drawers and big wardrobe. Second bedroom has 2 single beds, wardrobe bedside table. Individual reading lights and orthopaedics mattresses in all rooms. Insect sreens in all windows. Lift access. Apartment is highly finished with nice sofas and solid pine furniture . Kitchen is fully equipped and dining table seats 6. In the living room, sofa beds or extra beds and wardrobe can be added upon request. Penthouse terrace has garden furniture and a BBQ. I live close and offer 24/7 support. Also I am always willing to give tips for the holiday

The apartment is located in the old fishing village of St Paul's Bay, and is in front of the old fishing harbour still full of colourfull traditional Luzzu boats. Some parts of the village have developed touristic areas but the village kept is old charm. The apartment is in a residential area. In the village centre, 900m away from the apartment one can find all kinds of shops, and entertainment (bars/restaurants, nightcubs, casino, watersports). Golden sandy beaches are just 1 bus away. Ferries that go to Gozo and Comino(or one day cruise) depart from nearby. The bus stop is in front of the apartment and so is a rocky beach. The location of the aparment and penthouse is ideal of honeymooners, families with children, retired couples or group of friends. There is plenty of on street parking(free). Renting a car is not necessary. Most historic sites are 1 bus away. There are also long promenades for long walks and a picturesque countryside to discover. Activities are infinite.

Fishing trips, speed boat trips and boat charter can be arranged. Taxi transfers are entrusted to a serious taxi driver in a Mercedez e class. - are arranged at Eur 25 (cheapest you can get) . Also I can take care of car hire at the cheapest price. In the Penthouse there are also 2 sunbeds in the terrace, apart from the BBQ and garden furniture. A canopy provides some shade for eating outdoors in the shade. Swimming can be done in a small bay just 100m from the apartment. The best sandy beaches are all 10 min by bus away. Also one can take one day cruises from a nearby jetty. Swimming in winter can be also done in heated pools around the island. Why is the apartment ideal for the eldery?: The apartment and penthouse are served by lift and only 5 steps at the entrance of the building have to be climbed. The apartment is in a quiet but central area, and the balcony(apartment) or terrace(penthouse) is ideal to just sit there and relax seeing the fisherman going in and out with the traditional fishing boats. The apartment is also on a promenade where one might take a long walk all at the same level(no steep hills). The country side is also close and some guests love to have a walk along the promenade, countryside to then to Golden bay, which is one of Malta`s best sandy beaches. The bus stop is just opposite the apartment and a good bus network takes you wherever you like at a very cheap price. If you like to hire a car there is ample free on street parking. The shops are all 800m away or less. Also hawkers come to sell bread daily and fruit and vegetables twice weekly just in front of the apartment. Fishermen will sell fish just caught from their boats.

Why is the apartment ideal for families?: Self catering apartments are always better and cheaper for families. It offers a safe environment. Children love the small bedroom and the combined room offers good space for playing. Children can have a go at fishing from the jetty just opposite the apartment or join the local children for a swim at the reserved swimming zone just opposite the apartment. Also malta offers some attractions for children like the Mediterraneo water fun park, playmobile park, playingfieds in all towns and villages, popeye`s village and fun park, and many sandy beaches. There are buckets, spades, lilo`s etc in the apartment for children to play with near the sea. Also Malta offers loads of history and an excellent place to learn and practice English and so may serve as an educational trip. As for safety, the closest local clinic is just 5km away. Hospital is just 15 km away, and Malta boasts one of the best health care service in the World. Also private general practitioners are at call 24/7.

ideal for a group of friends/honeymooners?: The apartment is large enough to take up to 6 persons and penthouse up to 4. All beds can be single or double beds. This makes it very cheap per person. Due to its position it is close to all the best beaches, night life like casinos, restaurants, open air discos, nightclubs etc. Water sports outlets are all over the village and the island too. For honeymooners or those seeking a romantic holiday the the apartments offer a spacious balcony to enjoy sitting outside and watch the beautiful view and the romantic sunsets. The penthouse is sweet and spacious. Has a lovely terrace to sunbath, make BBQs, dine, or sip a glass of wine while the sun goes down. the apartment is also close to romantic hide away restaurants and wine bars. Close to the apartment one finds fortified cities like Mdina, terraced landscaped countryside, and long promenades make Malta a truly romantic place to visit.

We (couple) have just returned from Neville's penthouse in St. Paul's Bay. The apartment is very nice and well-maintained and the view from the balcony is wonderful. Neville (name doesn't suit him - sorry Neville!) himself is a very helpful, friendly, easy-going guy who provides you with all the relevant info. For partygoers, this place is not recommended as it is far too quiet. Bugibba or even Mellieha would be better destinations in that case. You can also go to nearby Bugibba on foot if you fancy a bite to eat and drink etc. For a romantic few days away from the crowds though,or even for a family, we would recommend this place. We didn't rent a car and went everywhere by bus, which more or less is fine but be aware that the buses stop around 8pm or so at night so take that into consideration when you go somewhere, otherwise you have to cough up money for a taxi. The restaurant directly across the road is a good place to eat if you're too tired to go anywhere and its nice to sit outside under the stars with the wee local boats dotted around the harbour directly in front of you as opposed to big flashy yachts which one normally sees. All-in-all, a very pleasant relaxing place to be for a few days. Thanks Neville!

Two weeks in St. Paul's Bay

We spent one week in Neville’s apartment in St. Paul’s Bay and enjoyed it quite a lot. The penthouse was roomy and especially the living room was spacious enough for all of us (we were a group of five people). Planning our stay on the Maltese Islands, we found Neville’s nominations of touristic places very helpful.
Even though the St. Paul’s Bay is not a perfect bathing area, it is still good enough to refresh yourself and it guarantees you a beautiful look from your balcony.
With the busses departing every five minutes just in front of the flat’s front door it makes it easy to take a drive wherever you would like to go.

The apartment was excellent and in a wonderful position.
The owner was always on hand if there were to be any problems and apart from a very small leak there were none.
The only thing I could think of to improve would be the inclusion of an electric kettle. The gas takes a little while to boil the small kettle supplied.
The owner, as all Maltese people is extremely friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending his property to anyone.

We couple (late 50's) stayed in the penthouse suite. The apartment was clean and tidy and the view from the balcony the best we have ever seen.

Neville's response to emails sent was faultless and he and Ruth were very helpful in rectifying a couple of minor faults we found with the apartment.

We found the terminology "close by" a little misleading and the area a little too quiet for us.

Recommended for couples wanting a relaxing peaceful area to stay.
