Nearby attractions: Paceville is on the east coast and is very convenient for travelling to all of the tourist and historic attractions that are on offer in Malta. By public transport, you can easily travel north to St. Pauls Bay, on to Mellieha Bay and then continue to the ferry port to Gozo and Comino or travel south to Sliema, Valetta and the historic 3 cities of Malta. In Valetta you will witness the sites associated with the Knights of St. John who defended Malta during the siege in the 17th century. You will also be impressed by the secure battlements that protected Malta during the attempted invasion during the 2nd world war. These surround one of the deepest harbours in the Mediterranean which is called The Grand Harbour of Valetta. It is a cruise ship venue which overlooks the newly refurbished impressive marina opposite. The Marina is alongside Fort St. Angelo and close to the Casino, both of which are part of Malta's main tourist attractions.
