'Casa dei Cieli' occupies a sun-drenched elevated position at the end of a tranquil lane. The gorgeous panorama from the house encompasses a sweeping view of the wonderful Sibillini mountains, no less than 6 historic hill top towns and alternating patchworks of sunflowers, vineyards and grain-fields. Inside charm abounds with the use of high quality materials, including travertine and oak flooring, wood beamed ceilings and granite work surfaces. This is complimented with premium furnishings which ensure maximum comfort. Outside the gardens have been landscaped to include various terraces and dining areas, along with a large private saltwater pool with plenty of sunbeds, steamers and umbrellas to help you unwind and take in the wonderful view. The ancient walled city of Ripatransone is a short drive away as are the beaches of Cupra Marittima, Grottammare and San Benedetto, whilst the National Park encompassing the Sibillini mountains, where skiing is available in winter, is 50 mins away

Le Marche is famed for its wonderful vineyards and wines. Casa dei Cieli is a short walk from a fantastic winery in San Giuseppe. Ripatransone (5 mins drive away) has supermarkets, chemists, bakers, butchers, cafe/bars, restaurants, banks and numerous buildings of historic interest including a theatre, cathedral, and museum. It has various festivals in the summer months. There are many other hill top towns within easy reach, all with lots to discover. The National Park and Sibillini mountains are under 1hr drive away and are great for walking, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding & watersports such as sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing on some of the lakes. Macerata is an hour away and has an opera festival throughout the summer in its open air amphitheatre. Ascoli Piceno is about 40 mins away and the exciting medieval Quintana, jousting festival takes place on the 1st Sunday in August. The blue flag sandy beaches of San Benedetto, Grottamare and Cupra Maritima are 20min away.

Nearby Beaches and Walled City: The nearest beach is Grottammare which is 15 min drive. Beautiful sandy beaches go on for miles and loungers and parasols can be hired if required. The beach along this stretch of coast is very good for children as there are man made rock barriers that limit the depth and the wave height of the water. The beach has a wonderful palm tree lined promenade with many restaurants along it - particularly good if you like fish dishes! Cupra Marittima & San Benedetto are also very close. We are 5 min drive to the ancient walled city of Ripatransone, which has great historical interest and has all the amenities you will need. From our house you can also see the hill top towns of:- Montefiore 6km/4miles Carassai 5km/3miles Montalto 10km/6miles Montedinove 14km/9miles Cossignano 5km/3miles

Outside Space with Salt-water pool: Outside space is abundant and recently the grounds have been extensively landscaped providing areas of lawn, beautifully planted beds and several different terrace areas for alfresco dining. There are various types of outdoor furniture including teak loungers & sunbeds, parasols and a large dining table. Also a barbecue is provided, if the mood takes you. The salt-water swimming pool (much softer water to swim in than a chlorine pool) is 9m x 5m with a Roman end for easy walk-in access when you fancy a dip! There is also an outside shower next to the pool for your convenience. Swimming pool has an electric pool cover, but is not fenced so children should be supervised at all times. Garden is surrounded by screened fencing so suitable for children.

Airport Distances. Golf and Skiing.: Car hire essential. Driving times from Airports shown below:- Ancona 1hr - Ryanair served from Stansted. Pescara 1hr - Ryanair served from Stansted. Bologna 2.5-3hrs - British Airways served from Gatwick and Ryanair served. Rome 2.5-3hrs - British Airways served from Heathrow or Gatwick and Ryanair or Easyjet served. There is a 9-hole golf course near Carassai about 30 min away or the 18-hole Conero Golf Club is about an hour's drive North, near Sirolo. Low-key family skiing is under an hour's drive away in the Sibillini mountains.

Superb in every way

Our week at Casa dei Cieli was simply superb. The house was well equipped, the furniture comfortable, the location ideal, and the scenery just stunning. (It would be great to add a bocce ball set to the already-outstanding game collection!) We also enjoyed the company of a local orange tabby cat (that we named "Buster") who greeted us on the first day and never left! The owners have taken immense pride in this home, and it shows. My husband and I are already talking about renting it again next year so we can continue to explore the amazing Le Marche region. Thank you for a perfect holiday!

Breathtaking Views

This house exceeded all expectations from us. It had all comforts of home and we needed nothing during our entire stay. So many things were well thought out from the selection of DVDs, the availability of an MP3 player and selection of reading materials. The welcome basket was a lifesaver since we arrived after the stores had closed for the evening. The house is in an absolutely beautiful area and the views of the neighboring areas and mountains were spectacular. The owners have done an excellent job of ensuring that you feel very comfortable in their home. It would have been a bit helpful to have computer access or TV access but it did not damper our stay in any way. The area of Ripatransone is very quaint and had all stores, etc. that is needed. Taking a wine tour to two local vineyards was especially exciting and the wines were excellent! We enjoyed travelling to some other local towns like Monsampolo del Tronto, San Benedetto, Recanati as well as Urbino and Assisi. Would like to experience it during the summer months or during the harvest season. All in all, great property, easy communications with the owners, the agent was great and would highly recommend this property to anyone who want to experience the beauty and all that the LeMarche region has to offer!

Experience the harvest

We stayed here in early October which was during the height of the grape picking in this part of Le Marche. From this beautiful location we were able to watch the local farmers picking their grapes and were in walking distance to a top-notch winery to watch the whole process...and sample the rewards.

The house is furnished for comfort and with all that was needed for our stay. The views in the morning as the sun spreads across the rolling hills was a great way to enjoy our caffe' and as the sun set the outdoor area was a great location where we could sit and sip local wines and enjoy the views.

Splendido!

This splendid, four bedroom, 3 bath house was the perfect launching pad for investigating and exploring the magical Piceno area. A panorama of rolling farmland greeted us each morning, truly a tapestry of brilliant colors with the snow-capped Sibillines in the distance. This is a new construction, made to look like an old country farmhouse, but offering all the finest in decor and the best in modern conveniences. Casa dei Cieli is comfortable and romantic, furnished with all the glassware, cooking utensils, towels, linens and dishes that guests would ever need. The property is perfectly manicured, beautifully maintained and impeccably clean. It is secluded and private and quite dramatic with its high beamed cielings, spa baths, gourmet kitchen and cozy fireplace. The pool is its crowning touch and we were sorry that it was December and we could not use it! The towns that surround Casa dei Cieli are picturesque, friendly and offer a rich selection of wonderful restaurants and interesting historical and architectural attractions. Staying at Casa dei Cieli made our Italy vacation a marvelous experience.

This year an additional winery has opened just up the road, now making it 2 within easy walking distance of the house - so you don't need to get into the car to sample some of the best wines made in the region!
