Leysin is close to the cities of Montreux (Montreux Jazz Festival), Lausanne, and Geneva, which lie on the shores of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman). You can walk, swim, barbeque, paddle boat and sail. Leysin's neighbouring mountain resorts are Les Mosses (ski link to Leysin), Villars, Chateau d’Oex (February hot air ballooning), Gstaad and Les Diablerets (glacier skiing). There is a golf course, an adventure ropes park and a beautiful Castle just down the valley in Aigle. In Montreux, just along the lake, visit Chillon Castle where the poet, Byron, carved his name in the dungeon. On the other side of Aigle, towards Evian, take your kids to Acquapark or the Steam Train Park and Miniature Village (Swiss Vapeur Parc) by the lake at Le Bouveret. For Roman ruins, visit Martigny and it's neighbours, Sion and Sierre. For a relaxing treat, soak in the nearby thermal baths of Lavey Les Bains.

A Great Choice

We had an excellent stay in this cosy and relaxing flat. A short walk downhill to the telecabine to get to the slopes AND you can even ski straight to the back door when there is snow in town! A definite bonus!! Leysin is a great resort with a variety of terrain, on and off piste, no queues and a large area of linking lifts.

Everything was clean when we arrived and we quickly made ourselves at home using the closets and wardrobes. We had two days that we weren't on the slopes, but we really enjoyed exploring Leysin and relaxing in the flat. There was even a traditional fondue set provided for us.

Skiing back to the flat for lunch was a real treat. The balcony, which is a great sun-trap with comfy chairs, has amazing views!

We would recommend this flat to anyone looking for a good holiday in Switzerland...any time of the year! We are definitely booking again and are looking forward to exploring the hiking trails and mountain biking in Leysin, too.

We had the opportunity to discover Leysin for a long weekend stay during the pre ski season. Our stay in this lovely flat in the mountains was just amazing. The flat was modern, in great condition and very cosy with everything you can think of provided for a perfect holiday.
Knee deep powder with unforgetable views of the alps and all the way down to lake Geneva. We put our skis on outside the flat, skied down to the gondola and returned making fresh tracks to the back door. The only negative was that our stay wasn't long enough because Leysin deserves to be fully explored!!!!
I would definitely recommend this flat to anyone looking for a home away from home and Leysin as a vibrant and exciting resort with lots to offer - something for everyone.
