Situated on the west coast of Normandy this property is ideal for large families and can easily accommodate upto ten adults and two infants. It's an ideal getaway for families and friends to meet up and relax in the beautiful and picturesque surroundings of the countryside. This detached property has it's own private driveway and two large gardens to the front and rear. Take advantage of the large decking area ideal for family barbeque's or relax with a book as the children play safely in the secure outdoor space and play area. This delightfully airy property provides a large open plan living space with a kitchen, living and dining room. Also on the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, one family bathroom and a children's playroom which provides dressing up outfits, paints, games and books to keep the children occupied. There is an annexe above the playroom with a single bed with access via a staircase. Upstairs there are a further two large bedrooms with a family bathroom.

The property is set in a small hamlet which boasts it's own Chateau, Manoir, church and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Take advantage of the peace and tranquility the local beach has to offer only 2km away and which overlooks the island of Jersey. Lose track of time as you swim in the clear blue water, explore the rock pools for local sealife or build sandcastles in the golden sand. The beautiful harbour town of Portbail is only 7km or a ten minute drive away where you can find a horse riding centre, sailing school, supermarkets, art and craft boutiques, post office and restaurants. Visit the local markets and sample the wonderful locally grown produce this region has to offer. Take a short boat trip to Jersey or Guernsey from the nearby towns of Carteret and Granville. The property is an ideal base to visit the historic landing beaches of Utah and Omaha, Mont St Michel, Bayeux or you could even treat yourself to a shopping trip to Paris easily reached by train.

A great vacation home with a lot of space and a nice big garden where the kids can play. Interior is in very good shape and with a large and functionable kitchen you can´t do anything wrong. David, the host, is also very helpful and friendly.

100% recommended!!!

Our first time to rent a house in France and already spoiled! The property is modern, spacious and tidy. The house has nice bedrooms, 2 lovely bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and space to dry clothes outside and a very large garden with decking to sit outside and have a bbq.
One of the house it's best features is the playroom full of toys. Especially the 4-year old we brought had a great time dressing up as a princess!
The house is in a very small village and the closest groceriestore is a 10 minute drive. You will need a car.
The WWII sights are about an hours drive and defenitely worth a visit.
We had a great stay and will defenitely tell our friends (and already have) about this property
