A wonderful place surrounded by the famous vines of St Emillion. Visit the bastide towns....none more memorable than St Emillion the for its prettiness and individual shopping experience. After many years of planning and searching we found and refurbished this romantic haven....offering 2 grand modern suites and two fine traditional bedrooms. St Emillion and region is not only known for some of the finest wine in the world but a a gastronomic paradise. We were chef/restaurateurs in London and spent our lives developing our style and interests in modern and traditional French cuisine and we are more than happy to prepare wonderfull meals for your enjoyment. Our special cookery adventure will take place in the cooler months in our large well equiped kitchen. Finally learn to relax with a hot stone massage, reflexology, reiki, yoga and Indian Head massage. We have collected a team of really professional practitioners who have joined us to create a really special holiday experience.

Location: Gensac in France

Nearest Airport: Bordeaux at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Train: st foy la grande at 12 Kilometres
Arrive at Bordeaux and spend some time looking around this city enriched with theatres & cafes. Then head towards Libourne...remember to return for a shopping visit and a walk along the river...as you head towards St Emillion one of the prettiest bastide towns in France. Take the 936 towards Catillon de Bataille and you will notice the turn off to Pujols and Gensac. The journey from here towards our village is breathtaking. Arriving from Bergerac airport you must stop to look at Monbazilliac ..not only beautiful but the area is known for a lovely sweet wine to be drunk with foie gras or certain desserts. Bergerac has a very old area with interesting shops, almost Normandy like buildings & cafe/restaurant culture. A wonderfull selection of music & vibrant atmosphere is present on Le Fete de la musique....Our property is about 35 mins from the tiny airport serviced mainly by Ryanair. We can talk to you about all the excellent markets, good & superb restaurants & help you if you want.
