A wonderful holiday in a beautiful apartment

Stayed here for one week in April 2009. Very lucky to have six full days of beautiful sunshine. The apartment has absolutely everything you need to guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Nice pool and gardens outside. It is also very secure, and you feel really safe in this location. Marvellous balcony on three sides of the apartment so you get sun from early morning to late evening. It is very nicely furnished and everything looks brand new. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, generous lounge and dining area and lovely kitchen, fitted with microwave, grill, toaster etc. Extras like hairdryer, iron, parasols and lovely outdoor furniture. There was nothing at all that I would fault. Location is great too, with at least 3 lovely beaches within easy reach - at Olphos d'Agua itself, Maria Louisa beach and Santa da Eulalia. Lots of really nice restaurants nearby, so at night you don't have to walk far. We still found the restaurants much cheaper than in Scotland, even though the rate of exchange is now only one Euro per British pound. We have been to the Algarve many times before, and stayed in hotels and self-catering accommodation, but this is definitely one of the best holidays we have had. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone - whether couples or families alike. It is within easy walking distance of Olphos d'Agua, and one night we walked into "the Strip" at Albufeira, although that took just over half an hour. One day we walked along the beach from Olhos to Vilamoura, which was lovely as we like walking - that took about 2 hours and we got the bus back. We hired a car for the week, which was really cheap, and went on nostalgic trips to all the places we visited years ago - beach at Praia da Luz, lovely shops at Lagos, village at Burgau, and spectacular views at Cape St. Vincent. We also went to the beautiful old town of Tavira and the Saturday market at Loule. There is so much to see and do, that one week isn't long enough. We will definitely return to this lovely place - everything was perfect, the location, the weather, the accommodation - not to mention the food and drink!
