The Algarve region:
The beautiful Algarvian coast is within 20 minutes drive, including the Algarve Shopping Complex and the night life at Albufeira. Most of the well known golf resorts are also within one hour away by car. However just to enjoy the local country side can be a pleasant and relaxing holiday for many visitors.
The popular resort town of Albufeira is just 20 minutes away by car. Gale beach is the same distance and is used mostly by the Portuguese - it is a stunning beach. There are many beaches all within 20 minutes by car. You won't go hungry or thirsty as there are many bars and restaurants and public services.
The local bank is about 15 minutes away by car as well as post office and grocery stores with plenty of bars and restaurants in between. Foral is flat and many people can be seen walking daily whilst on holiday. The area is surrounded with olive, lemon, orange groves and vineyards.
Local area:
Within easy reach of the apartment are choices of local restaurants offering a variety of Algarvian country food or a la carte Portuguese cuisine and fine wines. The medieval Castles and towns of Silves and Paderne are worth a visit, plus the ancient market towns of Messines, Algoz Paderne and Alte are approximately within a radius of six miles.
The nightlife of Albufeira is 20 minutes away and The Algarve Shopping centre is 20 minutes away where you can buy cosmetics, perfume, the necessary wines and groceries.Local shops and min-markets are 10 minutes away in Tunes.
Outside:
There is large outside terrace wrapped around apartment with garden furniture, parasol, etc. for sunbathing, relaxing or eating alfresco. The apartment has outdoor space around it and is surrounded by patio enclosed by balustrade and gate and there are benches, table and chairs where you can just sit and take in the views of the garden, sunbathe or eat alfresco. You can make use of the purpose built barbeque.
