The bright spacious accommodation comprises of one particularly large double/treble bedroom (Queen-sized bed), separated from a substantial bathroom, having WC, bath, shower, bidet. The inner hall leads on to a good sized living room with a feature open fireplace, easy furniture and dining area. Colour teletext television with 30 channels featuring amongst others, BBC 1, 2, 3 & 4, ITV 1, 2 & 3 channel 4 & 5, BBC World & Prime, Sky Sports 1 & 2, CBBC, Movies 24, Film 4, History channel, National Geographic, TCM etc. The American style kitchen includes a full oven with hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, all cooking utensils and crockery. The property is complete with towels, linen (changed weekly), electrical fans, hairdryer, steam iron etc., maid service is provided between lets. There is a private walled garden with shaded terrace, patio table and chairs, sun loungers, ( patio doors open to the garden from the lounge). The garden is south-facing enjoying day-long sunshine.

'El Capistrano Village'is ideally situated for the town centre and the sea. 'Burriana', Nerja's largest and most cosmopolitan blue-flag beach is directly below. Here you will find every amenity you want to make your holiday experience memorable. Every kind of bars and restaurants line the beach where beach restaurants barbeque fresh meats, fish, shell fish and vegetables all day and late into the evening. Try one of their giant paellas cooked over an open fire! the 'Balcon de Europa'situate in the coastal heart of Nerja is nearby. The whole area comes alive during the evening where (in summer months) the many restaurants spill out onto the streets when the area becomes traffic-free. Within walking distance from El Capistrano you will find the internationally recognised 'Caves of Nerja', a must see attraction. A short bus ride into the hills (10 minutes ride) is the white village of Frigiliana. Known as the 'village of three cultures' (Christian, Moorish & Jewish), take a camera !

Coast/Beach: Nerja and the surrounding area offer any number of beautiful beaches. There are separate beaches designated for naturists.

Skiing: Nerja is only one to one and a half hours by car away from the skiing resort of Sierra Nevada. There you will find everything you could ever want for skiing whatever your level of competance! A bus service to the ski slopes including the facility to hire equipment at discounted prices is organised in the season on a weekly basis by the town of Nerja.

Golf: There are numerous golf courses in the immediate vicinity but, be aware that some need proof of your playing handicap if you are to use the course.

Other Activities: Walking (beach and mountain), off-road biking, quad biking and cycling, horseriding, snorkeling, jet-skiing and diving are all readily available local

Staying at Pueblo 48 on El Capistrano is always a wonderful experience. The property is in a convenient location close to the pools ( but far enough not to be a disturbance). The property is well maintained and kept spotlessly clean by the owners. It has a lovely secluded walled garden with colourful Andalucian flowers overhanging the walls in typical Spanish style. A fifteen minute walk or 5 minute drive and you are in the town or on one of the local beaches with a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Our favourite beach is Burriana where a visit Ayos beach restaurant is a must. The town of Nerja has restaurants and Tapas bars to suite all budgets and tastes. We can fully recommend staying at either of Nic and Nancy's properties on El Capistrano for a relaxed comftable holiday.

Had a great time at this villa. Nice and quiet. Just right for a couple like us.
Very spacious and clean. Close to town and the nearby caves of Nerja. Didn't need a car because public transport was so good. Beach is just a 15 min walk away.
Had a lovely relaxing time.

Just came back from Capistrano Village, this was our first time in Nerja and first time using private rental, We got a warm welcome from Nic and Nancy, The Villa was spotless and well stocked, we loved the privacy and the walled in garden, everything was at hand, pool, supermarket ect. the beach and the town was a short walk away, we would definatly recomend this apartment to friends, ideal for families or couples or for a nice relaxing holiday, we will definatly be returning next year

Excellent location, excellent property, We found the Villa to be clean and tidy and ticked all the boxes. Nick and Nancy were always on hand to help us, if we needed it, which was greatly appreciated. . A fifteen minute walk takes you into the heart of Nerja and a ten minute walk takes you to the superb beach location of Playa de Burriana. Capistrano Village is a pretty, well tended site with flowers, bushes and trees in abundance and a well stocked supermarket within a minutes' walk. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and plan, infact, to return later in the year.

We have recently returned from a very enjoyable two weeks in El capistrano. Pueblo 48 is a lovely spacious apartment, clean and welcoming on arrival, and we particularly liked the enclosed courtyard where we enjoyed al-fresco breakfasts and lunches and the odd G & T.
The communal areas are all well maintained with beautiful flowers and shrubs contrasting with the white houses.
The local supermarket, 5 minutes walk, had everything we needed( but is closed on Sunday- our arrival day).
Plenty of restaurants by the beach and in the town to suit all tastes. The beach restaurants would be particularly suitable for families as there are play areas on the sand.
We managed without a car but bearing in mind the cost of taxis to and from the airport,65 euros each way, we will consider hiring a car next time. Yes, we will be back!
