A Good week with fond memories!!!!!

Raffles Widnes, Cheshire
Review Submitted: December 23, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
When I first found out we were going to a cottage in a welsh village called Trefriw I thought where? However as soon as I arrived I thought yes!! This will do for me!! It was so quaint, so welsh, so calm!! In our party was my sister my wife and our 12yr old son which concerned us as I thought "what will he do? will he be bored?" but he absolutely loved it! The cottage itself is superb! The change from being somewhere so today!! and that view!! It is so easy to visit numerous places like Conway, Bangor, Llandudno, Camarthen, Porthmadoc, Phwelli etc.... are all within easy reach! There is certainly plenty of places to go here and things to do here! The weird thing about this cottage was that even though you had had a full day out somewhere, coming back in the evening to it was a real pleasure! It had a real warm feel about it! Given the opportunity I would buy it I loved it that much! We all did! especially the little fella!!! Can`t wait to come back again this year!! I would more than highly recommend it!! Alan.

Mill worker's cottage in Trefriw

Hiker Mom Vacaville, California, USA
Review Submitted: October 6, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Beautiful views over the valley, house very clean and cozy, beds very comfortable. If you have a car, this a great central location for visiting sites all over North Wales. There are many beautiful and well-marked hiking/walking trails starting right in the village of Trefriw. There is no parking immediately next to the cottage. There is a footpath (not lighted at night) up to parking area. The owner was fantastic to deal with and very helpful about places to see and things to do. It was a nice, quiet place to stay. The village of Trefriw is beautiful. Definitely try the Fairy Falls pub...great food and friendly people. The Trefriw Woolen Mill was surprisingly interesting. Everything you need is within easy walking distance of the cottage. I would recommend this property to a friend and I would stay there again when visiting North Wales. The only bathroom is on the lowest level, living area one flight up and bedrooms one flight up from that. If you are in good health, no problem.

Wonderful week in a lovely place

Ireland-Travellers Halle (Saale)
Review Submitted: November 8, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We spent a week in this lovely house, which is a thoughtfully restored Welsh terrace house. There was enough space for two adults, two kids and a dog and enough to do, walk and see in the nearer and wider vicinity. The house is obviously used regularly by the owners so that everything is kept in a very good state. It certainly was one of the most cozy places we stayed. To say it in German: einfach schnuckelig.
