It's in a villa situated next to a farm and forest on the southern side with view of countryside all round. On the northern side another a villa. In the east there are some apartment buildings and to the west full view of countryside, 'La Haute Broye'. The efficient Swiss transport system -bus and train - is only 5 minutes walk from the villa. With it, all the major tourist sites are at your door step. No car needed. Long walks, hiking, bicycle, eco tourism at it's best. Montreux, Lausanne, lake Léman, Fribourg, Bern, Geneva are all a train ride away. A newspaper agent, restaurants, post office, and small grocery are 5 minutes walk away.

Ideal base for exploring the Lake Geneva region

The description was comprehensive and accurate. The close proximity of the railway station implies hearing the trains (but really not disturbing).

The apartment was in impeccable state, and in particular the computer and TV/radio were of best quality and invaluable for arranging detailed sightseeing programmes and dealing with "unfinished business" back at home.

The most important factor was the owner's (and his family's) exceptionally kind and extremely helpful attitude to help and assist his guests to fully enjoy their stay.

Therefore, we would gladly recommend this apartment to others.
