Luxury Holiday Villa Town house with Large Sun Terrace and Private plunge Pool. Very Romantic Location close to the Village of Castro Marim and many local Golf Courses. Within 5 mins of superb and romantic beaches with long stretches of open white sand. Spacious and open lounge and kitchen with 3 large bedrooms, Master bedroom ensuite and a very large Sun Terrace with fantastic views across the Village to the Castle and Fort. Night time views are particularly spectacular especially during the August Festival with its evening events and Fireworks. The Village of Castro Marim is very picturesque and the Locals are very friendly. There is a full Gourmet restaurant on the edge of the Village within a few minutes walk from the house. This would be an ideal Self Catering Summer Holiday rental for families and friends as well as couples who want a quiet romantic Summer break. The Spanish border is within a few kilometres and the old fishing town of Ayamonte only 10 mins. Well worth a visit!

Nearest Train: Villa Real at 5 Kilometres

Villa Real de Santo Antonio is an interesting town with many shops selling local textiles. There is a pleasant riverside walk. It is possible to catch a ferry over to Ayamonte on the Spanish side of the river. Both Ayamonte and Villa Real offer river trips to explore the Guidiana river. Villa Real is the terminus of the Algarve railway and an interesting (but slow) excursion can be taken using this line. Ayamonte is a good shopping centre and also has a number of interesting restaurants and bars. it is worth calling at the Parador for a drink as its bar offers excellent views of the river. Ayamonte has a new shopping centre with a Mercadona supermarket and petrol station. Here you will notice that nearly all the cars have Portuguese plates. Petrol (and cigarettes) are cheaper in Spain

Great relaxing holidays in this house. Everything worked, we had great support from the guy who is in charge and helped us always immediately. The house is in very good condition, clean and modern furnished. The pool is excellent for a relaxed cooling down afternoon. Supermarket very close in a wonderful little village - without thousands of tourists, very intim. The beach Praia Verde is 10 minutes by car and absolutely phantastic.
We would like to come again!

recreative, pleasant and no mass tourism holiday

I was there with my husband and our 6 year old doughter. We are from Austria.
Normaly we always fly to clubs in creece or turky but this year we tried a single journey. We were really surprised that one week in this area, in this house, on the beach, have made us more relaxed than in some magic live clubs.
The house was very clean, the living room was very comfortable, the bedrooms were big especially the one which you have stairs to the terrace - you had a wunderfull view there.
The beach is also very clean, and the white beach is wonderfull and you can collect mussels through the hole beach - you can walk with your feet on the water from playa verde to monte gordo.
It was really a wonderfull holdiday for us and I will recommend this house and a holiday there.
