The property is completed enclosed, with a pool and is surrounded by coconut trees. Barbados Chattelypso is within 2 mins drive to a shopping center,with supermarket and hardware store. Its within walking distances to many beaches in St. Philip. Nearby Beaches are Crane Beach, Bottom Bay , Foul Bay. ....and about 15 minutes drive from the popular Miami Beach in Christ Church..and 20 mins from Accra Beach in Christ Church.

Beautiful Bajan Cottage

Although I'm usually not one to write reviews, I feel I would be doing everyone a disservice if I didn't share my wonderful experience at this beautiful Bajan cottage. Having traveled all over the Caribbean, I have yet to find another spot as rich with beautiful Caribbean flora or as romantically private as this cottage. I loved the poolside view looking out over the ocean and the cool ocean breezes enjoyed all day long. The serene stillness and privacy allowed us to feel like the only ones on the island. The owners are very kind and accommodating and the price is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The Perfect Hidden Gem!

We stayed in Chattelypso for the whole month of February and we were more than just satisfied! The entire experience was next to perfect. Andrea was a great hostess, she picked us up from the airport and guided back to this little piece of heaven. Pictures do not do the house justice - it was clean, spacious but the private pool was the best part. The many palm trees provided lots of privacy and we still had a glimpse of the ocean that was 100 feet away. Ocean City provides the best view of the ocean while being nestled away from the bustle of the island. After our one-month stay, we raved so extensively about the cottage, that our friends from back home were compelled to spend a week. They've just returned as well and were in love with Chattelypso as much as we were. This cottage is highly recommended and we are definitely making this our annual Caribbean retreat.

We were very privileged to rent this property in Barbados on the quiet side in a clean and safe environment.
From the moment we opened the door we were 'home' instantly.
Our retreat was spacious, clean, comfortable with everything we could have asked for to make it a very special holiday to remember.
The owner was gracious and was attentive to all of our needs and any problem that cropped up.
We look forward to returning very soon and it has become a part of our lives ... going to Barbados, the beautiful Island with beautiful and gracious people.
Now that you all know how great it is ... I hope I can still book our times there ... hummm .... Christmas in Barbados ...
