The villa Estrella del Mar, Starfish, recently built (2006) is situated at the foot of the mountain la Pelada, just outside the village of El Medano, at a stone's throw from an enclosed, idyllic beach. The villa is a spacious and luxurious house, situated at its own road. The outside entrance is secured with a gate and passing through the gate you approach the front door via the garden and the terrace. The house boasts three terraces, one directly situated near the entrance and enjoying the morning sun. The terrace is equipped with teak wood tables providing seating facilities for up to 10 people. At the back of the villa the second terrace running parallel to the house, is entirely enclosed with plenty of sunshine in the afternoon and evening. It provides enough room for sunbathing or dining with 10 to 12 guests. You reach the terraces through the big and luxurious kitchen ( 60 m2!!) and the hallway. With the outside stairs you have direct access to the pool and the garden.

Notes to the rental rates

• Rates are based on a 4 person usage of the house, more persons is € 240,00 per person per week. For an stay with 8 people the price is € 1.995,- per week. A week counts a maximum of 7 nights.
  Tariffs do not include cleaning, a separate fee of €125 is charged.
  The maximum number of persons is 8 plus two children until the age of 4 years.

The Island of Tenerife

Tenerife is the ideal destination for a break to forget the northern European winter. With an average flight time of approximately 4 hours you find yourself in a pleasant subtropical climate all year round. Tenerife is a versatile holiday destination. If you love sunbathing the southern part of Tenerife, where our house is located, is the best destination. But you can also visit one of the many nature and animal parks, picturesque villages with folklore activities, museums in Santa Cruz of discover other places of interest. Tenerife offers numerous possibilities for hiking. Not only in the volcanic park of the Teide, but also the beaches and barranco (canyon) offer numerous well documented hiking trails. Vilaflor, at an altitude of 1500 metres, has an abundance of hiking opportunities. At the culinary level you will appreciate Tenerife. The number of restaurants in the tourist centres is of course overwhelming.

Golf Information:

As mentioned before, Tenerife is the place to go for all watersport lovers. But whereas El Medano is the place-to-be for surfing, Golf del Sur is the meeting place for playing golf. Each year both places show up in current sport programmes because of the world cup events. Parasailing and parapente are some of the other branches of sport or leisure activities to be practiced on Tenerife. On the cultural side you can visit concerts and museums.
