Sitges:
For those who don’t know it Sitges is a Spanish resort with a difference and a far cry from the noisy typical resorts of the Costas. It has been fashionable since the 1890´s, when it became an avant-garde art world hang-out attracting writers, painters, intellectuals and artists as a home and inspiration for their work. It has also been one of Spain´s most anti-conventional, anything-goes resorts since the 1960s. Nowadays Sitges appeals to everyone from jet setters to young travellers, honeymooners to week ending families, Barcelona night owls to an international gay crowd.
