Pernera is one of the most popular areas in eastern Cyprus, and is close to excellent beaches, a superb range of shopping facilities, family oriented bars, tavernas and restaurants, and within a few kilometres of the more lively towns of Protaras and Agia Napa. Local beaches have been awarded ‘blue flag’ status for clean and safe waters. The immediate area has plenty to offer, including numerous opportunities for water sports: water-skiing, para-gliding, windsurfing, canoe and paddle boat rental, fishing, snorkelling and diving (there are three dive shops within walking distance of the villa offering the chance to dive the Zenobia, one of the top ten wreck dives in the world). The ghost town of Famagusta is only a few kilometres away, and the national park of Cape Greko is close by, offering one of the island's most beautiful and stunning natural landscapes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental includes private use of villa and pool, utilities and linen. We ask our customers for a security / damage deposit of £200, which will be returned in full promptly following departure from the villa if the villa is left in a reasonable state of cleanliness and repair.

    The villa is rented on a weekly basis and prices are in £ Sterling per week for the villa, regardless of the number of guests and includes:
    - clean, crisp bed linen on arrival day (and cot linen if required)
    - towels
    - beach/pool towels
    - welcome basket (including washing up liquid, washing powder, softener, toilet roll, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, jam, butter, biscuits, juice, and a bottle of wine. Other items are available on request).
    - cleaning on departure day
  • Long term lettings outside of high season (at much reduced rates) will be considered, but your deposit will be higher. Long term rentals do not include utilities, which must be paid for locally by the tenant.

    We will also accept payment in euros. Please note that there will be a small additional charge if paying euros to cover bank charges. Please contact us for more details.
  • Cyprus is a hot country, currently suffering a shortage of water. We therefore ask that all tenants act in an environmental friendly way by using the air conditioning and water responsibly. Please turn off the air conditioning when you go out of the villa and do not waste water.

Things to do: The area around Pernera has plenty to do - if you don't want to spend time on the beach or by the pool! The villa contains an information pack containing details of some things to do or places to visit during your stay. Please visit our website (link is below) for some more information, and suggestions of things to do! The information pack also contains emergency details, including a local medical clinic.

Welcome pack: We provide a welcome pack to help get your holiday off to a great start. The pack contains items such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, jam, washing-up liquid, toilet roll, and a bottle of wine for the first night! If there's anything else you would like included in the pack, please let us know - we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Getting there: Larnaca airport, where many of the scheduled and charter airlines fly to is only 50km away, and less than an hour's drive away. There are plenty of hire car options available from there (although a car is not necessary, and we can arrange airport transfers if required). You may be able to get a cheaper flight to Paphos airport. Although on the other side of the island, Paphos is only two hours drive away, most of which is on excellent motorways (Cypriots drive on the left hand side of the road, as in the UK).
