Corralejo holiday villa: Corralejo

This was our first visit to Fuertenventura and the first time to Las Olas. All I can say it was fabulous, the villa far outreached any self catering accommodation we have stayed in before, the standard so high in that everything one would have at home was there, and as to its location, WOW!!!! We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the beach and watching Corralego wake up and evenings were spent in restaurants in the town (we did not find a bad one) or BBQ-ing on the patio, enjoying a refreshing glass of Sangria followed by a nightcap of the local Honey Rum. A great day trip on the Freeborn Catamaran to Los Lomas where, we snorkeled and enjoyed a good lunch on the boat, with all drinks included a couple of hours on the Island then back home. Unfortunately, we had only a week, and did not have enough time to explore the island, and as being August it was hot and we wanted to enjoy the sunshine. We also had surfers in the party who wanted to enjoy the surf. so the days were spent relaxing on the various beautiful uncrowded beaches and surfing. Will we return? DEFINATELY, but for much longer. Without doubt, it would be hard to better the position.
We hired a car for the week and had just a day's use from it as the property was central to 95% of virtually every thing you could wish for.
When the owners mentioned that there were around 20 restaurants within a few minutes walk, they were wrong, there must have been around 40.
The friendly changeover staff gave us loads of advice, the property was spotless, and we look foward to going back there this year, though looking at it's popularity, it could be sometime.

I have stayed at this villa twicw and am returning again in June 2009 for another 2 week holiday, I think that tels you all you really need to know about the villa.

The villa is much better than can be described on the web site, its position in Corralejo, stunning views over the harbour and to Los Lobos and having the beach at the bottom of the garden what could be better.

It is in the centre of the town but you would never know that as there is no noise from pubs or nightclubs, and you are only a short walk away from all the ameneties, bars and restaurants.

The property was spotless when we arrived and having the air conditioning in the bedrooms is a bonus.

I have already told several people about this villa and some of them are thinking about going there for their holidays.

I was there with my wife and 2 teenage boys and we all had a tremendous holiday and can't wait to go back again in June
