This property is a three bedroom town house on three stories, with balcony, solarium and front patio area for relaxing evenings in the warmth. Tastefully decorated, and fully equiped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, TV, DVD, washing machine, air conditioning throughout and sleeps six comfortably in two double bedrooms and one twin. Twin bedroom overlooks communal pool. Car parking right outside. Whole region is flat, with promenade and beach within eight minutes walk. Friendly Spanish town on the Mar Menor, with many tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops within walking distance. Excellent street market on Wednesdays. Murcia city centre 45 mins drive, Alicante 40 mins drive, Cartagena 30 mins drive, La Manga 45 mins. Local airport of San Javier (Murcia) is less than 10 mins away, ideal for car hire or taxi.

Santiago de la Ribera is a small quiet town located on the west side of the beautiful Mar Menor (translated as Minor Sea) in South East Spain. The area is well known for its international golf courses, sailing, windsports, cycling, walking and exploring in the region, which is extremely flat. The Mar Menor, a vast salt water lagoon attached through a very small channel to the Mediterranean, is well know for its health benefits, owing to the fact that it is enriched with minerals, is pollution free, and the fish and other seafoods caught from it are claimed to be the healthiest in the world to eat. Likewise, the waters of the Mar Menor are extremely salient, buoyant and safe for swimming in its continual 18 degree temperature therefore ideal swimming for all ages. Santiago de la Ribera, and other nearby towns, boasts a rich variety of restaurants, tapas bars, shops and supermarkets. Many of the restaurants specialise in a variety of seafoods caught locally.

Additional information about rental rates

  • £100 deposit required to secure a booking. The balance, including a £100 security deposit, is required no later than four weeks before travel to the property. The damage deposit will be returned within ten days of leaving the house, provided our agent confirms that there were no breakages. Deposits non-refundable. Prices include a normal clean prior to your visit, and a meet and greet. If you wish a welcome pack, this can be provided for an additional charge payable on arrival to our agent.

    An optional additional charge of £25 per week will be made for the use of the air-conditioning.
  • We're sorry but single sex party bookings will not be taken, nor will parties of young people.
  • Low season long term rental rates will be considered.

This house was an excellent base for us. We were in Spain for a family wedding, (my sister lives in Santiago de la Ribera). The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the use of the communal pool was very welcome. The air conditioning was also extremely welcome as we were there at one of the hottest times of the year. We did not hire a car and were picked up and taken to the airport by the agents for this house. It was an excellent service. We walked everywhere - depending on what time of day you are walking and the temperature, it takes between 10 and 20 minutes to get to the lovely beach or the village centre. There is also a range of supermarkets less than 10 minutes walk from the house. The house was immaculate and well cared for. I would thoroughly recommend this house for complete get away.
