Chateau Vrchlabi is situated near a park and a square. Vrchlabi is situated on the foot of the Giant Mountains near the well-known ski areas Spindleruv Mlyn, Herlikovice and Janske Lazne. In summer you can play golf at Golf Club Mladé Buky or go for a walk (Nordic Walking) and enjoy the beautiful landscape and nature. You can also rent a mountain bike and discover the Giant Mountains. The 'golden city' Prague is more than worth it to visit! The required facilities like a supermarket, bank and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Chateau Vrchlabi is situated in the touristic centre of Vrchlabi. Vrchlabi is centrally located compared to Bohemian Paradise (Cesky Raj), the city Prague and several ski resorts in Giant Mountains. You will find the nearest supermarkets, restaurants and cash dispensers in the centre of Vrchlabi. In winter you can perfectly go skiing in Vrchlabi at ski resort Herlikovice or at the largest ski resort of the Czech Republic, Spindleruv Mlyn. There are enough ski rental shops and ski schools. In summer this region is perfect for hiking, mountain biking or other outdoor activities. You can climb the highest mountain of the Czech Republic, the Snezka (1602 m.) in Pec pod Snezkou. Or do you like to play golf? There are many beautiful golf courses in the surroundings of the Giant Mountains. It's also possible to visit historic castles and a lot museums. You can enjoy this area each season!
