Pretty 1st floor self catering apartment in quiet location, fantastic for families wanting busy days but peaceful nights. 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and the other, bunk beds. A further sofa bed is in the lounge area. Bathroom with shower, washbasin and w.c. Ski locker and underground garage. Area approx. 35m2 and large south facing balcony of 15m2 with stunning views of Mont Vallon. Convenient 5 minutes walk to shops etc, ski school, lifts, tourist office and cinema. Free bus service to Meribel operates morning to late evening. T.V.with popular UK channels, DVD player, Hi-Fi. Proprietors live nearby, should you need assistance and can sometimes provide airport transfers for reasonable rate if required. Essentials starter pack with tea, coffee, milk, etc provided. Local ski hire shop will give discount to our guests. For a comfortable, cosy home from home holiday with fantastic access to all three valleys. Best suits families with up to 3 children or 1or2 couples + 2 children

Nearest Airport: Geneva, Lyon or Chambery at 128 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Moutiers at 16 Kilometres

Located in the heart of the Three Valleys, Mottaret, at 1700m is the highest and most snow sure resort of the Meribel valley. Chambery is the nearest airport with Geneva and Lyon about 2 1/2 hours away by road. Moutiers at the foot of the mountain has a railway station and then is served by a bus service upto Meribel and on to Mottaret. The apartment is located near to le lac tueda and the Vanoise National Park yet only a few minutes level walk from the centre of the resort with ski school, lifts, tourist office, shops, bars, restaurants and cinema. A free bus service, Meribus, runs regularly from early morning till about 11.30 pm so that the facilities of nearby Meribel, Mottarets larger and busier neighbour, can be accessed. These include a swimming pool, ice rink and bowling alley as well as many more bars and restaurants. Mottaret has the best of all worlds, the best access to all of the Three Valleys skiing, stunning scenery and nights when a pin's drop could be heard.

  • For the ski season, rates include either AIRPORT TRANSFERS or GARAGED PARKING. Please confirm availability with owners before booking flights. Also for the ski season, the cost of the clean at the end of your stayis included. Summer bookings, cleaning is charged at 60 euros per stay.
  • Linen/towel hire is not included. The cost for this is service is 22 Euros per person, payable on arrival and will be in the apartment for you.
  • We do not ask for a deposit for breakages, but operate an 'honesty' policy. If something is accidentally broken, please bring it to our attention for replacement.

Spent 1 week in this great apartment located in the fantastic resort of Meribel.
The owners met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment and pointed out the major facilities etc of where we were staying.
Apartment was a good size and would accomodate 4 people comfortably.
Lots of local restaurants and bars and the slopes were about 5 mins walk from the apartment.
Owner's Response: What can I say? Except, perhaps that we aim to keep up this excellent record.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance of ski lifts (our small children carrying skis managed easily). Easy access to Meribel with green run to the childrens lessons. The apartment was clean, well kitted out and warm with plenty of storage. The TV worked and kept our 3 children entertained. A small but important touch was provision of cleaning products and condiments. The owners are lovely and the airport collection/ drop off was a huge bonus. No bad points whatsoever. We will definitely return.

Excellent ski holiday at Easter

We had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment in Mottaret which was perfect for us and our 2 children, aged 13 and 10. John and Yvonne could not have been more helpful. The location was excellent with an incredibly well stocked local shop (tariflette, rotisserie chicken, pizza all to takeaway) and great restaurants but nice and peaceful at night.

The apartment was very well equipped and had endless supplies of hot water which was great. We even had sparkling wine and milk in the fridge waiting for us!!

Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

An excellent apartment, just as described. Perfect accommodation for my family of 5. The owner was friendly and helpful. The pick up and drop off at the airport was brilliant, which made our holiday much more relaxing. The location of the apartment was perfect for access to all three valleys, with lifts to different ski areas all within a short level wallk. Also the handy location of the bus stop and supermarket were ideal, as within 200 yards of apartment. Thank you, would certainly recommend to others. Could perhaps benefit from balcony furniture, for sitting out.

We are committed to providing airport transfers or garaged parking, within the rental cost, again next season. It has proved to be a huge success not having to waste time sitting on a slow coach or searching for your car under 3 feet of snow on the last day of your holiday.
As we live nearby, it is no problem for us to respond to flight delays or traffic problems to meet you on arrival.
