Bahia Azul is a luxury development of detached villas within a manned gated community. From the villa itself you can enjoy on site facilities including bar, restaurant, gym and sauna, plus there are nearby shops for those essential holiday necessities. On the roof terrace, as well as the views to the sea and natural landscape, you can also enjoy cooking outdoors on the barbecue and catch the last of the rays of sun as it sets behind the mountains. Also within the property, you can enjoy the lagoon style pool which is lit during the evenings, and also has complete privacy. The property also offers guest Satellite television, DVD player, a games console for children, a fully fitted kitchen including a washing machine for those wishing to stay longer. The en-suite bedrooms are located to the left of the pool and entrance is via the poolside and each are individual. For this reason we recommend this property is not suitable for children under five years.

Corralejo town is now based around a busy port/marina that caters for the ferries that run between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. There is also a range of tourist orientated activities that operate out of the port as well as a fishing fleet that is based there. There are many activities that operate including, glass bottom boats, trips to Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos, as well as fishing and snorkeling and diving trips. There are several beaches in and around the town, totalling miles and miles of white golden sands. It is possible to learn how to take part in surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding activities, especially at Flag Beach a short distance south of Corralejo. For those of you that prefer to keep your feet completely dry whilst having your holiday fun, there are plenty of shopping opportunities. A market is held at the Baku Water Park, on Monday and Friday mornings. There are several commercial centres scattered around the town, with a new one, the Miranda commercial center.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price per for one week will be that corresponding to between the dates above, irrespective of if the week proceeds into the next price banding. A second, or subsequent week will then be priced at the corresponding price for between the dates in the next banding.

    The prices are based on an occupancy of of three bedrooms. Prices for less than six persons or three bedrooms can be negotiated.

    For a 7th or 8th person to stay there is a supplement of £100 per week per adult.

    The option to pay by Visa or Mastercard via Pay Pal is welcomed, however a 3.5% additional charge will apply.

    Pool Heating is an additional £50 per week to suppliment the high electricity consumption or inclusive when full price paid.

    If you would like your favourite alcohol/beverage to be supplied to your villa for your arrival this can be arranged at what ever budget you require.
  • 25% deposit is required to reserve your stay and the balance is due at least 8 weeks prior to your date of travel. A further security deposit of £150 or €150 is also payable before your date of travel to cover breakages, additional cleaning if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition or excessive cleaning is needed, evidence of smoking within the property, or a blatant disregard of the property is evident. In the event that that parts of the villa or equipment has been altered, or damaged partial refunds or full refunds are given at our own descretion based on the cost and time involved in rectifying problems. This money will be refunded after inspection of the property by bank transfer.

    Welcome packs are provided when the full advertise is paid.

    Cancellations: If your holiday is more than 8 weeks away, your deposit will be refunded as soon as possible. When less than 8 weeks remaining before holiday commences, refunds are not possible.
  • Watamu is available for long term renal. The price is €1800 per month including pool cleaning twice per week and water. There is also a deposit payable of €1800. Long term rentals are considered a stay of two months or longer.

  • Each bedroom has en-suite facilities to the same standard high standard and decorated to a modern style. There are no baths to this property, only showers. There is also a separate WC accessed from the main living area.

The three bedrooms all have sliding glass doors which out look to the pool. A recent addition is an Ipod Station to enjoy your favourite tunes which can be used anywhere in the villa but primarily left for the bedrooms. Cots for toddlers can be hired for €25 per week and payable locally. (These must be reserved in advanced). To sleep an additional 2 persons we are able to provide a sofa bed which will be placed in the central living area. This is a suplementary and therefor will incure an additional charge which is added to the overall cost of the accomodation.

Notes: The kitchen is of modern design with marble work tops (open plan to living area). Living Rooms: The lounge/dining area is completely open plan to the kitchen and retains the modern feel. The surrounding area: Coast/Beach The nearest beach is Flag Beach which is around 1.5km away. (5 mins by car or 30 mins walking). This beautiful white sandy beach is popular with wind/kite surfers or those wishing to top-up their all over tans! The beach is very big and never suffers from over crowding. The beach stretches some 6 miles and is arguably one of the best on the island. There are smaller beaches around Corralejo harbour which too are excellent for swimming and sunbathing plus there are many bars available.

Facilities within development: The villa is part of a small development called 'Bahia Azul'. Within Bahia there is a restaurant and bar, gymnasium, and bicycle rental is available. For 2009 the communal facilities will also include a Spa and Sauna, Gymnasium plus a range of beauty treatments. The development is gated with 24 hours manned security. In all the Villa is in an ideal situation with the Natural Park area, providing peace and tranquility, but just a stones throw from Correlejo town centre. Guests must bring their own wireless internet device such as Laptop, IPOD, Cell Phone, etc. We have now a racket court, - please note that this is a Paddle court and not a full size tennis court.

Pool heating & Games: Pool heating will be operational from October - March. - This is €50 per week extra unless full advertised price paid. Games such as table football, board games, Table tennis, and other sports equipment can be made available for hire. Please enquire for specific needs.

Golf: Only 100 metres away you can play Golf and Mirador de Lobos Golf in Corralejo. €13 - 9 holes, €20 - 18 holes, €5 - club hire. This course is directly behind BahiaZul!! This can be booked from the Bahia reception.

Das Haus ist wirklich ok und man kann einen schönen Urlaub dort verbringen. Allerdings gibt es die gleichen Häuser von anderen Vermietern in der gleichen Feriensiedlung, die deutlich billiger zu haben sind, die jetzt ins Netz gestellt wurden.

Die Küchenausstattung lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Die Töpfe sind reichlich klein, so dass es wirklich schwierig ist für 6 Personen zu kochen, für die das Haus ausgelegt ist.

Die versprochenen Sonnenschirme waren nicht vorhanden. Bei der Wohnfläche wird die Dachterasse mit eingerechnet. Die tatsächliche Wohnfläche ist faktisch die Hälfte.

Die Matratzen sind einfache Ikea-Ausführung - also für Leute mit Rückenproblemen nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Entfernungen zum Strand sind reichlich untertrieben (1,5 km = Luftlinie; aber nicht tatsächlicher Weg). Zum Einkaufen ist ein Fahrzeug notwendig oder die Nutzung eines Taxis.

Also: schönes Haus, von anderen billiger zu haben.
